Characters: Alucard, OPEN
Setting: Floors 25
Format: I'll match
Summary: Alucard's arrival has not made him happy.
Warnings: Thread is set at night. Monster attacks are a strong possibility.
This floor had a meadow. It was strangely pleasant, even in the darkness. But he was a stranger in this place and found himself on guard as he wandered the floor. He was not alone. He could see shadows moving in the distance. Nothing he couldn't handle, he told himself. Nothing that he couldn't destroy. Alucard had killed everything that his father had thrown at him. He'd easily do it again and again. Let the creatures lurking in the shadows come! He welcomed the challenge, anything to take his mind off of the fact that he was trapped in a foreign land. Kidnapped against his will.
The man would not allow himself to calm down. He wouldn't be contained. His father had made that mistake, hadn't he? And now, according to the people who had trapped Alucard here, he was dead. For good. He wouldn't believe it until he had absolute proof. After all, much of what he had seen so far indicated that he was being tricked. The large metal boxes with images on them were just one example of things that he wanted absolutely nothing to do with.
Though he had seen from the dormitories that there were many, many people in the tower itself, Alucard had noticed that there didn't seem to be any other people around. It was strange, especially for such a peaceful looking meadow. The only thing that he could hear was something that sounded like vague shuffling of bushes in the distance.
"Who's there?" he growled sharply.

Slowly, she started to approach the bird, ready to jump out of the way at a moments notice if the bird decided to charge her.

Quietly, Tohko got out the roll of gauze and started to wrap it around one of the wounds on the birds leg.

He wouldn't act yet, though, waiting to see what was going to happen.

"Good bird..just hold on a little more.."

Such a kind girl. He was impressed that someone so kind could survive in a place like this without becoming jaded.

Besides, it wasn't like she didn't want to help the bird. She kept smiling as she worked on wrapping and bandaging up the stomach and back, moving on to the head and neck when she finished.

"Don't worry..I think it will this time..and it's done!" Wrapping up the last bandage, Tohko carefully backed away from the bird, giving it some space.

"Well, I tried my best. After all, I can't just leave an injured person or an animal lying there, even if they are violent."

Alucard didn't smile, he wasn't really capable of it, but his expression was one of warm approval. In another life, he had wanted to be able to raise his son to be so good. "I'm sure it will be fine," he said, hoping that the giant bird would recover from its injury.

"It probably will be..but what about you? Will you be alright?"

"That's pretty amazing..but how are you able to heal that quickly?"

"I see..I'm sorry if I'm being nosy then, but are you a vampire then?"

Even so... she had been nothing but helpful. Alucard was not particularly a good liar, and he didn't think that he would be in danger, at least not because he was a vampire. "I am," he admitted softly.

"I see..I'm sorry to hear that then. If you ever need something to eat, I would check the infirmary. They might have some blood packets that you can grab."

"Oh, you're welcome! I'm always happy to help out! Although..I should have realized what you were earlier. Alucard is just Dracula backwards, after all."
no subject
"It is no bother. I know now where to find sustenance."
no subject
"..While that's good, I apologize for annoying you. Dracula is a character from a story in my world..but if he actually exists in yours and you don't like him, I didn't mean to make comparisons."

"I'm not sure whether that's fortunate or not..but if he ever does show up here, you should be careful. If you're planning on fighting him, you should know that he can't be killed..at least, not here."
