|002| I have seen the dark universe yawning.
Characters: Sam Erstwhile and YOU
Setting: All over the tower- you choose where!
Format: I'm doing action at first, but I'll follow whatever you have!
Summary: Sam comes back...not quite himself.
Warnings: Extremely serious body horror (there's a picture you can click to see included in the description), as well as the usual brainwashing related to what he went through. Possible extreme violence, gore, body limb removal and death due to malfunction, if you want to risk that. Also disorientation and dizziness due to his impossible appearance!
LUCIDITY
[Out of all the horrible things that were once your friends going around the tower...this might be one of the worst.]
[Because at first, you can't even believe that what you're seeing is human. It's just a mess of body parts- eyes where they shouldn't be, multiple arms, some of which belong to monsters, jutting out from random places, teeth snapping in the folds of skin, so obviously warped. And one of the worst things is is that it constantly changes. Blink, and some of those arms are gone, to be replaced by spikes. Blink again, and the eye which was staring at you is now an open toothy mouth, dripping saliva. It hurts, it honestly truly hurts to look at, because unless your brain is used to such impossible sights, then it's going to be aching with trying to figure out what it's looking at.]
[But somewhere in there, if you can manage to look close enough, there is part of a human face, a young man with the saddest blue eyes you have ever seen trying its best to stare back at you. And it's crying, it's voice filled with absolute fear and sorrow.]
Oh, god, oh god, please don't hurt me!!! Please help me, it hurts, please, please, I don't mean any harm, I don't...
[What do you do? He doesn't seem to mean any harm, despite his grotesque appearance...]
COMPLIANCE
[Other times, though, this monster succumbs to that brainwashing chip in his mind, and he can be found wandering around, his eyes blank as he goes around doing what he should be doing-ordering others around. He must keep things working smoothly. He's in charge. He's always been one of the ones in charge.]
[And he will make sure that every drone he comes across is doing it's job well. Or else he'll have a few words with them if they aren't.]
ERROR
[And then, at the height of those moments of sanity, something kicks in, something primal and fierce and full of greed.]
[Don't even come near Sam when these malfunctions hit. Because to him, every limb, every body part...he has to add them to himself. He has to collect them, delight in their beauty, allow his body to absorb them all and become a part of himself. Any body part will do. Arms, legs, eyes, noses, brains, hearts, hands...all is fair game.]
[Under that sorrowful gaze, there's a beast just waiting to take the prey it so deserves.]

[Because that wouldn't be fun at all. He's holding Sephiroth up, preventing him from falling down, and as the winged man squirms in his grip, the warped grin on Sam's face only grows wider.]
Don't worry. I'll try to make it as painless as possible. [The hand gripping the base of his wing suddenly will probably feel sharp to Sephiroth- mostly because there is a tooth-filled mouth there instead, clamping down on the wing like a dog holding a bone.] Come now, look away. I allow you to.

Both the drone and Sephiroth inside himself both gasp in reaction, but the drone did nothing more other than look away from it's master as instructed. Pinpointing his gaze on the floor a few feet away. He felt a lot stronger balance wise the longer he was not looking at the monstrosity and soon a lot of the weight Sam had been holding was able to be taken by Sephiroth's own strong legs again.]

There we go.
[And that's better. Now he won't have to expend much strength holding the drone up. He pats Sephiroth's head again, like consoling a child, before, without even the slightest warning (and keeping a tight grip on Sephiroth with all his limbs in case what he does will make him react violently.), he lets that mouth clamped around Sephiroth's wing to open and then suddenly close hard, breaking the skin easily with teeth digging deep down almost to the bone.]
[It being a mouth, of course, Sam can taste the iron aftertaste of the blood from the wound he just created, and his eyes light up with primal, victorious glee.]
And there we go again. Now, to only...pull...
[And don't mind him, Sephiroth, he'll just start to yank as hard as he can, trying to break that joint. It's going to take a while, though...even teeth can't do much to a substance like bone.]

[Not that the thought can even break the drones docile facade. The drone straightened itself in reaction, or as much as it could given how much it was being restrained. Under the sudden, sharp - more definable clamp of pain as if he might be able to roll on top of it. Sephiroth's vision lurched violently but he figured that was the shock, he knew already that his body had been stripped of it's regenerative powers after all. He's been left with human resilience only - this wasn't good.
He could feel the warm pounding of the wound as it welled up with blood and started flowing between the two of them - freshly staining his long silver hair and sliding down the flesh of his back as if he were sweating heavily.
And it didn't stop there. As if knowing when the drone had gotten over the initial shock of it's wing being bitten down to the bone, Sam's comment alone would have been enough to make Sephiroth feel even more sick with the very real fact that he might not survive this.
Much like an additional shoulder joint, the wing is attached on a ball joint with all the relative tendons that need to be ripped apart first. The process is long, excruciating enough to bring water to the drones' eyes; but there isn't anything Sephiroth can do to stop it! Eventually, after much persuading, there would be an almighty, body shuddering CRACK-POP as the bone eventually comes free from it's socket - the drone blacks out for the second that it happens and swoons heavily against Sam's hold.
Only a few stubborn slivers of muscle and skin now separate the malfunctioning unit from it's prize.]

[Yes, it's his, it's his! He lets out a cry of satisfaction, brushing over the form of the wing like it's a precious jewel that should be prized like an idol.]
[He doesn't really even notice Sephiroth. All he's focused on now is his reward, and after a minute or so he moves to stick the wing on his bubbling side- and of course, like everything else, it takes. His form warps slightly, and now here are feathers where there shouldn't, an eye with feathers for eyelashes, feathers for fingers, the bone of the wing sticking out from his neck.]
[It's become his, now.]
[And...ah, yes. The drone. He doesn't really need it anymore. He loosens his hold, sneering slightly as he lets the man drop unceremoniously to the ground. What's used is used, after all]

He could feel the blood leaving with each rapid hammer of his own pulse, driven on by the shock. Sephiroth is feeling cold and shaking already; he doesn't have his usual regeneration to access.
The drone isn't in any position to witness what Sam does with the claimed wing because by the time the hold is released, supporting himself even with the remaining wings outstretched is too heavy. The drone crashes heavily to it's knees and sways there in the pool of it's own blood decorated with bloodied feathers.
Come on! You're really going to sit here and let yourself bleed out? Urgh- Consciousness swims with the next twitch of his body as the drone tried to move to get back on it's feet. Instead he falls to the side and can only watch as the lights dim.]

I'll be going now. Thanks for the contribution.
[Covered in blood himself, he slithers around he body before making his way to the next corridor. Perhaps he'd find another willing victim there...]
[Because this was all so fun, wasn't it?]
