Aftermath

Setting: Post-event. First the Dorm Floors and then floor seventy-eight.
Format: Prose to start with, but I'll match you.
Summary: Tohko, remembering all that she's done, tries to make amends with whomever she can.
Warnings: You might possibly have a blubbery Tohko, depending upon who you are.

Tohko remembered everything that she had done and tried to do as a drone very, very well. She had tried to kill people, had ordered others about, had been skinned and mutilated like that..and she had tried to kill children, she had tried to kill her best friends! While she loved the photo album, with pictures of her parents, family, and friends..it only made her want to cry even harder, so she left it in her room. Instead, she ran out of her dorm room, biting her lip and carrying her notebook and pen, rushing to the elevator with the intent of heading down.

She had to put things right, now that it was all over. She had to apologize, if she could! Even if it was because of Jason, it was still..terrible that she had done those things..especially to her friends.

When she finally got to the mailroom, Tohko started scribbling notes to the people she knew she had injured and friends that she had seen hurt and mutilated. There were probably network postings that she could look at or even use for this..but Tohko liked using letters, if she could. When she finished one note, she would rip it out and stuff it in a mailbox before starting again.

"That does make things pretty convenient," he answers cheerfully. After all, Chan and En weren't here. "Like I said before, this place is perfect. ✩"

"Not really..especially if you guys want someone to stay dead. And it's not perfect for those of us who like our free will and don't think that love is violence."

"But the dead don't fight back."

[tohko_amano]

"No..but don't you want some people to stay dead sometimes?"

[hemoeroticism]

"Sure, sometimes. ✩"

[tohko_amano]

"Then this place isn't good for that, since they'll come back."

[hemoeroticism]

"You know what I learned about this place? There's worse things that can happen to you than dying. I thought Deadman Wonderland was love... this place is so much better. ✩"

[tohko_amano]

"For you, this place is great..but for the rest of us, it's not wonderful. That's why most of us are trying to stop all these horrible experiments."

[hemoeroticism]

"It wouldn't be love without playing hard to get, would it? ✩"

[tohko_amano]

..Toto, if there was ever a moment where Tohko wished she could punch you and get away with it, this would be it.

"We're not playing hard to get! Is it so hard to understand that not everyone views love the same way you do?"

"Not really. But then again... everyone was mad in Wonderland, weren't they?"

[tohko_amano]

"That's true, but we're not in Wonderland anymore, you know."

[hemoeroticism]

"Where we are now is even better. ✩"

[tohko_amano]

"In your opinion. I would personally like being stuck in Lewis's Wonderland more than this place."

[hemoeroticism]

"How about mine? ✩"

[tohko_amano]

"I wouldn't like being in your world, to be honest with you."

[hemoeroticism]

"Shiro would be so disappointed to hear that."

[tohko_amano]

..At that, Tohko sighed.

"She probably would be..and it would be sad to see her like that..but I'm not sure I like the sound of Deadman Wonderland."

[hemoeroticism]

"That's too bad."

He hops off the table. "It was my home, you know. But I don't miss it one bit. ✩

[tohko_amano]

"Because you've found someplace better?"

[hemoeroticism]

[ Clap. ]

That's right!

[tohko_amano]

"However..even if this place is better for you, there are plenty of people who don't like it. People who want to go home and see loved ones again."

[hemoeroticism]

"Aha, too bad theirs aren't here, like mine are!"

[tohko_amano]

"Not everyone is as lucky as you are..and even if they were, they would probably want to be with their loved ones in a safe place, where they wouldn't have to kill or be experimented on."
