Summary: The angel is hearing voices. Good thing or bad thing?
Warnings: TBA.

Castiel had been hearing voices since the return of the experimented tower occupants, but he ignored them, if only to feel part of a whole again.

However, the nondescript murmurs were louder now, and only just discernible. The angel frowned and closed his eyes; it wasn't the Host, because their presence would extend to more than just voices. No, these voices seemed to be coming from the tower itself, like in the cathedral.

"Strange."

"The voices," he replied, staring at Ψiioniic curiously. "They're getting louder."

While he knew that trolls are biologically different from humans, Ψiioniic seemed a lot more different that other trolls he encounted before.

"Really? I hadn't notithed..." Ψiioniic said, tilting his head and trying to focus on the voices that always screamed in the back on his mind. They didn't seem any louder to him, but then his powers weren't working very reliably at the moment. "You hear the voices of the doomed, too? I didn't know there were humanth with that power."

"The voices of the doomed?" Castiel tilted his head, still staring at the troll. "Perhaps they are, but they are still muted, and I cannot seem to separate them."

At the mention of 'human', the angel shook his head. "I am not a human. I am an angel of the Lord."

"I wish they were muted for me," Ψiioniic sighed. "They're alwayth screaming at me. It's thtrange how many different people there are here who look like the humanth but aren't. What Lord do you therve? Are you a slave, too?" He didn't know what an angel was, but maybe it was like him saying he was a Helmsman of the Condesce. Only he'd said it like angel was his species, or something.

Ah, right. Troll culture was very different from human culture.

"I serve God. He is my Father and my Creator, and this vessel I occupy is human," he explained, ignoring the voices for now. "As far as I understand, your culture and beliefs are different compared to the humans."

"God? Jutht one?" Ψiioniic blinked. Castiel had said it like he should automatically understand which god he was talking about, so it wasn't just that he only served one, it sounded like there only was one. "Wow yeah, that'th pretty different. We have a lot of godth, though I don't know anybody who serves them. I thuppose we were technically all created by them, though."

"Yes. Just Him." Castiel's eyes blurred over slightly as the voices started to whispershout at him again. He tried once again to focus on them, but he couldn't make out the difference.
