Flying Spaghetti Monster? Where?

Summary: Rei hangs out with a friend and then believes in tentacle monsters

1. Beach (closed)

[Rei looks even more cheerful today than she does usually. Two of the hairpins Nesir gave her are intertwined with her hair. She has to say such a style would better suit Asuka, but she likes it regardless. To make things better, she's set to meet the friend who had made these for her--Nesir.]

[Right now, she's skipping down the beach barefoot, waiting for Nesir to arrive.]

2. Floor 31

[Rei runs her fingers along the words carved on the wall. For some reason, she believes this totally. However, no fear shows on her face, just a silly smile with too many teeth. She's curious about this tentacle monster and would actually enjoy seeing it in action.]

3. Dorm floor

[Rei, getting impatient, has started searching around for signs of the tentacle monster, starting with the dorms. She'll be dashing down the hallways and peering into the dorms. She even takes the time to stop and look in each restroom stall.]

Nesir entered the beach a little cautiously, no one had ever really asked to meet up with her just because they wanted to before. Not even Lotte, there had always been a reason, even if it was just for Nesir to report then them to spend a couple of hours together pretending they were doing important things.

She hadn't really spent much time on this floor either, and she could only remember actually going to the beach once in Gauig despite it being so close. She forced the memory out of her mind though and waved at Rei.

"Hello!"

[terreifying]

"Hey!"

Rei turns, waves, and comes running toward Nesir.

"Look, I'm wearing your clips! They're really cute!"

[culbutiri]

Nesir grins, they did look really pretty in Rei's hair. She had thought they would. "You do be suiting them, I do be being glad you do be liking them!"

[terreifying]

She nods.

"And I'm glad you gave them to me to begin with. You're really smart, you know. You made the very best clips for my hair."

[culbutiri]

"Well you did be liking the first one I did be making, and these one's do be being better I do be thinking, I have been practicing my hand do be getting stronger." The one she had given Rei the first time they had met had been the first she had attempted since losing her fingers and she had practiced a lot since then.

[terreifying]

"Strong hands...huh?"

She looks down at her own hands, and then at Nesir's.

"I wonder who would do better at arm wrestling now?"

[culbutiri]

Nesir's eyes glinted, "Do you be wanting to be finding out?"

[ Sure enough, when she opens this door, she'll find him stitching up one of his legs. He barely notices her, until the hears the door creaking. Though he quickly perks up, worried it might have been Shiro (less so if it's Wretched Egg; this kind of thing wouldn't surprise her), he sees it's Rei, and relaxes. ]

It's rude to barge in without knocking, Rei. ✩ [ A miniature Crow Claw appears on his fingertip, which he then uses to cut the stitch. The seam in his leg closes, and he tosses the old stitch aside. ] But I'll forgive you this once, out of love.

Sorry. I was just looking to see if there were any tentacle monsters. You haven't seen any around, have you?

[She stares curiously at the stitches on his leg.]

[ He notes her staring, but he doesn't seem to care. No reason to hide this from Rei of all people. ]

There's all kinds of monsters here. Why a tentacle monster? [ He then tilts his head, and hops off the bed, landing right in front of her, leaning in to her face, grinning. ] Aha, if you want to fight something with tentacles that badly, I have two, maybe three Branches of Sin that are a lot like tentacles. ✩

[terreifying]

Because one is supposed to be attacking the Tower. And I'm not really into fighting against my friends, sorry.

Friends?

[ That surprises him for a moment. Oh, Rei, you're such a horrible judge of character. ]

I'll tell you. And then we can all have a massive monster hunting party together.

[ Someone noticed you a while ago, Rei. She at first thought nothing of it, but when Rei started checking the bathroom stalls it became time for an intervention. ]

Rei? [ Suddenly behind her is little miss time stopper. ] What is the matter?

[Rei turns and looks at Homura.]

Nothing much. I'm just looking for the tentacle monster!

Rei. Rei, what is this. ]

She gives him a puzzled look.
