Hacking #12: Anger Issues

Setting: Floor 84, Floor 28, Floor 15, and Dorm Room 2-04 (Locked to Aleph).
Format: Brackets to start with, but I can match you!
Summary: Now that there's a bit of a lull, April is throwing herself into being productive and dealing with some anger issues. The results vary.

[Floor 84]
[It seems like April's temper has gotten the better of her here, since she seems solely focused on destroying the blocks her with her bare hands, punching through them and just ignoring the items that they drop. They're fake, after all, like the rest of this stupid goddamn tower-

And another block is shattered as April kicks hard through it, though she ends up wincing and sitting down in a huff, thanks to her decision to use her bad leg for kicking. It'll be a while before she's back up and breaking things.]

[Floor 28]
[When she's in a more calmer mood, April can be found playing the piano in the music room. She isn't the best at it, but she's not too bad despite sometimes tripping up a note or two. And with how engrossed she is in playing, it doesn't seem like she would notice if anyone else arrives on this floor.

And she will claim that laying 'Twinkle, twinkle little star' is pretty soothing, despite her occasional messing up of notes.]

[Floor 15]
[Before April had been making weapons on and off just to see if she could, as well as to provide them to whoever needed them at the time. Now she's just throwing herself into making them, and she's using her electricity powers to help mould and shape the metal.

Right now she seems to be working on a blade of some sort, and checking over the edge of it to make sure it's sharp enough. The multiple cuts on her hands show that she hasn't exactly been careful with these, though.]

[Dorm Room 2-04. Locked to Aleph.]
[Ever since the reveal, April had made sure to check up on how Aleph was holding up. Today she seems a bit more hesitant than usual, but knocks on his room door all the same]

Hey, Aleph...?

[She gets hugged.] It's nothing you need to thank me for, it's just the truth.

[She squeaks in surprise, before hugging him back.] B-b-but it's made me r-really happy, so I am gonna have to t-thank you for that.

Okay. I won't complain.

[Cheek kiss.]

[She giggles at the cheek kiss and nuzzles closer to him, though she soon hums to herself in thought.] ... This month isn't gonna be anywhere near quiet, huh?

No, I don't think so.

[It's almost his anniversary too.]

[technologic]

Mm... It's weird to think that I've almost been here a year now... A lot has changed.

[alephbet]

I can't really say I miss any particular time.

[technologic]

Ehe, yeah... Though one good thing that happened this past year was meeting you.

[alephbet]

I liked that, but I like dating you better.

[technologic]

[Her face is going to be permanently red at this rate.] S-so do I... Didn't you ask me out when we were talking over the network for ages?

[alephbet]

We never do stop talking.

Yup. If we ever exhaust one thing to talk about, we quickly start talking about something else... Though I like how we can easily talk to each other.

You can't date and not talk, I don't think... I had that problem with Beth.

[technologic]

You guys didn't talk much...?

[alephbet]

We never really connected. You can make someone and tell them they're meant for somebody else, but you can't make them like each other that way.

[technologic]

... Yeah, that makes sense... Is that even possible though, someone being meant for someone else?

[alephbet]

With artificial humans, it is.

[technologic]

Huh... But that didn't work with her and you?

[alephbet]

No. Maybe if we'd had more time we'd have worked things out by ourselves.

[technologic]

[There's a bit of an awkward pause from her.] ... Sorry. I-I shouldn't have asked so much.

You can ask about anything you want. You've been honest with me, after all.

Okay, if you're sure... [There's a pause, before she shifts to sit on his lap.] ... I-is this okay?

[alephbet]

[He puts his arms around her.] Of course.

[technologic]

[She makes a soft, content sound and moves closer to nuzzle against him. Though she quickly turns red.] And would you... Um, s-still want to do things, ah, m-more than this?

[alephbet]

Of course. I want you to be happy and enjoy yourself.
