Hacking #12: Anger Issues

Setting: Floor 84, Floor 28, Floor 15, and Dorm Room 2-04 (Locked to Aleph).
Format: Brackets to start with, but I can match you!
Summary: Now that there's a bit of a lull, April is throwing herself into being productive and dealing with some anger issues. The results vary.

[Floor 84]
[It seems like April's temper has gotten the better of her here, since she seems solely focused on destroying the blocks her with her bare hands, punching through them and just ignoring the items that they drop. They're fake, after all, like the rest of this stupid goddamn tower-

And another block is shattered as April kicks hard through it, though she ends up wincing and sitting down in a huff, thanks to her decision to use her bad leg for kicking. It'll be a while before she's back up and breaking things.]

[Floor 28]
[When she's in a more calmer mood, April can be found playing the piano in the music room. She isn't the best at it, but she's not too bad despite sometimes tripping up a note or two. And with how engrossed she is in playing, it doesn't seem like she would notice if anyone else arrives on this floor.

And she will claim that laying 'Twinkle, twinkle little star' is pretty soothing, despite her occasional messing up of notes.]

[Floor 15]
[Before April had been making weapons on and off just to see if she could, as well as to provide them to whoever needed them at the time. Now she's just throwing herself into making them, and she's using her electricity powers to help mould and shape the metal.

Right now she seems to be working on a blade of some sort, and checking over the edge of it to make sure it's sharp enough. The multiple cuts on her hands show that she hasn't exactly been careful with these, though.]

[Dorm Room 2-04. Locked to Aleph.]
[Ever since the reveal, April had made sure to check up on how Aleph was holding up. Today she seems a bit more hesitant than usual, but knocks on his room door all the same]

Hey, Aleph...?

I can get you materials, if that's what you need. [Maka wouldn't want to be a burden.]

[technologic]

I got the materials I would need here. Trust me, I don't want to be paid back for this sort of thing, since it means I'm helping people better arm themselves against the monsters here.

[the_word_is]

Have you been here a long time?

[technologic]

[April starts to gather pieces of metal from a box where she keep it stored, nodding at Maka's question.]

... Almost a year now. I'm gonna guess you're pretty new here?

[the_word_is]

Yeah, I guess so. I got here a couple days before everyone turned into the things that clean up around the tower. Then I kind of went back home for a month.

[technologic]

[April winces slightly.] Ah, I'm sorry... That... Sounds like it really sucked.

[And April winces again; she has never been good with picking her words and she's obviously sheepish about what she just said.]

[the_word_is]

It really sucked, but I guess it means I know I can handle the worst this place can throw at me. I mean, I've been mind-controlled, killed, and sent to a ruined copy of my home, so it can't get much worse.

[technologic]

You might not want to say that, the admins may hear and try to take you up on that. [Still, April keeps looking sympathetic as she uses her powers to start to meld the metal together.]

[the_word_is]

What are they going to do? Kill me again?

[technologic]

Some things are worse than death. But it's good that you're strong enough to get through everything they've thrown at you.

[the_word_is]

I don't have much of a choice, do I?

[technologic]

You could always break down, or hide. I've seen people do that too. So it is good that you're strong.

[the_word_is]

[Maka shakes her head.]

Courage is something that everyone has. I just have experience fighting back.
