004 * Open

Characters: Vicente and Open
Setting: Library
Format: Starting with prose, but will follow your format
Summary: Vicente does a bit of light reading. If only it weren't for the distractions.
Warnings: None for now.

Sometimes Vicente wondered where the tower got all its books, given that this prison had no outside contact with the world. As far as he knew, anyway.

The vampire gathered a stack of books for today, some of which he'd already read but deserved a reread, and found a place in the shadows to sit. Given his long lifespan, he'd reread books plenty of times.

Vicente opened up The Odyssey to start himself off. It was a nice and thick book and would keep him occupied.

Thorin walked into the library, not knowing who or what he would find. He had not been in this part of the tower before, so it was a new experience for him. He'd guessed Legolas liked to come here, since elves enjoyed reading didn't they? He paced past rows of books, as he glanced at the large shelves. Would they have any books on blacksmithing here? Perhaps, he could gain some knowledge on the tower's structure also. If he could gain an insight into the staircases and entranceways, perhaps he could gain a way to become free.

To get out of this evil place and take his allies with him. For the moment he settled on finding a book on blacksmithing. That was when he spotted the man in the black robes sitting nearby. He looked a pale, sickly colour, as Thorin walked past him. He sighed, as he looked at the sections of books. Where to start.

"Greetings. I do not suppose you would know where I could find a book on blacksmithing here?"

"Aye. This place is just vast and this is my first visit, so forgive my questions." He studied the man in more detail and released he could not be of Man. He looked much older, yet his voice was that of a young man. "What is that you are reading, if I may ask."
