Room 1-10

[After reading the letters set by his bed in confusion, Judas sits up to look around the room. It looks like the other beds are occupied, and the trunk at the foot of his bed is clearly meant for him. He opens it, rifling through to find wine, bread and a familiar suit and set of robes. Definitely a good idea to change. It's hot, his robes would be lighter, although they might be a bit conspicuous in public, and he doesn't want to draw attention. In the end the heat wins out and he changes quickly to leave the room. But first, he has to check if he knows these other people, if anyone from his world was saved. Of course, that means standing over the other beds to scrutinise those sleeping in them.]


Cafeteria

[He knows he should eat the oatmeal, before he forgets, but he really doesn't feel like it. So with a book from the library in front of him, he pokes at the mess in the bowl. Wasting it would be wrong, but if he's not hungry, forcing himself to eat it is also a waste. Maybe he should just give it to someone else?]


Cathedral

[After hearing the faint mumbling of some sort of mass while passing by earlier, Judas returns to the cathedral floor, this time with wine and bread. He saw no one and nothing there, so at the least he could go to listen, and hold his own private communion. He kneels at the altar and bows his head in prayer. For the safety of the world he's left.]


Floor Sixty-Three

[Fishing is a thing Judas likes and would be glad to do. Suddenly falling into a vast expanse of water with fish he doesn't even recognise and is very worried may eat him is not. He struggles against the tide, but his waterlogged robes pull him down, and all he can do is call for help, though he's not so sure anyone will hear him, or care.]


Floor Twelve

[Judas stops dead when he reaches this floor. He wants to believe what seems to be happening all around him is a camera trick, or an animation, maybe something from a movie. But as he watches, it keeps happening, with clearly different worlds each time. If it's a trick, it's terribly elaborate, and as the truth begins to dawn on him, all he can do is weep. Not only the demise of his own world, but so many more. All those people, all their efforts, destroyed in an instant, is too much for him to bear. Especially in knowing somehow he was saved.]

I guess so, it is nice. I'm not really allowed to be on my own, though, so...

Well..if you don't want to tell me why you're not allowed out by yourself, that's fine, but if you're worried about breaking the rules..I should tell you right now that the note you got wasn't a lie. I'm sorry to say it..but our universes really are destroyed.

No, I...I know it wasn't a lie, I've seen. What I mean is, it's like being under housearrest. ...When our house and world weren't destroyed.

Right..but why did they put you on house arrest if Jesus forgave you? Were they worried about your health?

It's something to do with keeping an eye on me in general, I didn't really ask. I assumed they didn't trust me not to run off.

I'm not sure why that would be the case, unless you have a reason for running off. But maybe they're trying to make sure that you're healing, since you were stuck in hell for awhile?

Well, while we're not sure why they were making sure that you weren't alone, if you want, I'll do the same for you here.

No, I really don't need that! Despite what they might think, I can look after myself, and there's nowhere to go here.

Actually, this Tower is pretty huge, so there are a lot of places you can hide in it. Besides, it's dangerous here. I don't think you know how to fight, do you?

How much? If you want, I could train with you, so that you could better survive the monsters.

No, it's fine, I'll be fine! I just won't put myself in danger.

Judas, in this place, danger will find you eventually, even if you try to avoid it. I don't want you to die because you avoiding training!

It's fine, I'm used to dying.

[At that, Tohko sighed again and patted his head again.]

I know that you committed suicide once..but that was probably painful and horrible, right? Even if you've died a few times, it's not something that most people enjoy. I don't like dying.

[He nods.]

Ah, right there was that too, haha...

I mean this place is a bit like Hell, but actually a little better, so it's something I can handle, even if it's unpleasant.

[At that, Tohko sighed.]

I haven't ever been to Hell, even though I have read of several different versions..but this place might be worse than Hell, Judas. At least in Hell, you get to keep your free will at all times.

I suppose so, but at least here you stand a chance of running somewhere safe or fighting back. It evens out in the end, I think. Either way it means I don't really care.

Sometimes you do..but not always. Don't you care about living to the next day and continuing your story, so that you can make it better if it isn't good and living happily if it is nice?

...My story? I already tried to escape that, the story of Judas isn't one that should be continued.

[At that, Tohko sighed, but she..actually managed to smile a little.]

You dummy. Your story is your life, the good, the bad, and everything else. It's being continued right now..and I think there are quite a few people that would like for it to continue. Why don't you want it to?

Obviously it's going to continue whether I want it to or not, if I die here, that's part of it too, right? But it will still keep going when that doesn't last. So I don't really see what I need to worry about.
