Characters: Judas and open
Setting: room 1-10, cafeteria, cathedral, floor 63, floor 12
Format: Starting action but I can match
Summary: Usual newbie stuff
Room 1-10
[After reading the letters set by his bed in confusion, Judas sits up to look around the room. It looks like the other beds are occupied, and the trunk at the foot of his bed is clearly meant for him. He opens it, rifling through to find wine, bread and a familiar suit and set of robes. Definitely a good idea to change. It's hot, his robes would be lighter, although they might be a bit conspicuous in public, and he doesn't want to draw attention. In the end the heat wins out and he changes quickly to leave the room. But first, he has to check if he knows these other people, if anyone from his world was saved. Of course, that means standing over the other beds to scrutinise those sleeping in them.]
Cafeteria
[He knows he should eat the oatmeal, before he forgets, but he really doesn't feel like it. So with a book from the library in front of him, he pokes at the mess in the bowl. Wasting it would be wrong, but if he's not hungry, forcing himself to eat it is also a waste. Maybe he should just give it to someone else?]
Cathedral
[After hearing the faint mumbling of some sort of mass while passing by earlier, Judas returns to the cathedral floor, this time with wine and bread. He saw no one and nothing there, so at the least he could go to listen, and hold his own private communion. He kneels at the altar and bows his head in prayer. For the safety of the world he's left.]
Floor Sixty-Three
[Fishing is a thing Judas likes and would be glad to do. Suddenly falling into a vast expanse of water with fish he doesn't even recognise and is very worried may eat him is not. He struggles against the tide, but his waterlogged robes pull him down, and all he can do is call for help, though he's not so sure anyone will hear him, or care.]
Floor Twelve
[Judas stops dead when he reaches this floor. He wants to believe what seems to be happening all around him is a camera trick, or an animation, maybe something from a movie. But as he watches, it keeps happening, with clearly different worlds each time. If it's a trick, it's terribly elaborate, and as the truth begins to dawn on him, all he can do is weep. Not only the demise of his own world, but so many more. All those people, all their efforts, destroyed in an instant, is too much for him to bear. Especially in knowing somehow he was saved.]
no subject
[Lancer leans against the wall of the cathedral, but doesn't really venture in. He's not a particularly religious person, least of all a believer in this new-fangled religion, but Ruler's memories make him seek out this place as a sort of solace. Especially since what troubles his mind has to do with souls and salvation.]
no subject
I suppose so, yes.
no subject
[He frowns, trying to remember the memories that usually remained buried.]
That's a Christian ceremony, isn't it?
[It probably was--just that little bit of bread and wine didn't look like a meal.]

Cafeteria
However, she couldn't help but notice a newcomer who was having some trouble forcing himself to eat his oatmeal, from the looks of it. While the 'Ivan' was still following Tohko, she couldn't just leave a person in need alone, so she wandered over to him, smiling, leaving 'Ivan just a few feet away.]
Pardon me, but are you a newcomer? If you are, I'll help you eat your oatmeal. I know it can be pretty nasty sometimes..and I'll explain this Tower to you, if you want.
no subject
Ah, I am...if you want it, you can have it all, really. Anything you can tell me would be great, but don't feel like you're obligated.
no subject
I don't want it all. We should share it! After all, you have to eat it, or you won't be able to eat anything else without throwing it up. And I will tell you what I know. It would be cruel to just leave you without giving you the basics.
[Having gotten a spoon, Tohko sat across from the man and pushed the bowl so that it was between them.]
However..you'll have to steel yourself a bit. The truth isn't going to be fully pleasant. By the way..what's your name, if you don't mind my asking?

Floor Sixty-Three
Even if this person was a different version of the one he knew, that didn't mean that he could just feel angry towards him without having even spoken to him. If Judas wouldn't mind, chaos would try to pick him up, bridal-style, so that the man wouldn't sink anymore. Key word here being try.]
no subject
Th-thank you...
[He coughs, some proof of how sure he had only just been that he was about to die.]
no subject
..Do not mention it. We all need a little help sometimes.
[Even though the Judas in his universe had not given much when it counted-but chaos sighed inwardly again, trying to calm down so that he wouldn't glare or be rude to this person. Even if he still bore some ill will towards the Judas of his universe, that did not mean that it was right to be rude to the Judas of another one. Even if he had done the same thing for slightly different reasons and under slightly different circumstances.]
If you do not mind, what were you doing here?

The stars are pretty, aren't they? Shame we can't see much of them except like this.

You can stargaze in a place like this?

Excuse me. [She wants to reach out and set a hand on his shoulder, but she hesitates, arm half-raised toward him.] Are you— Will you be all right?

Yes, don't worry, it's just...it's terrible. I can't believe there's a floor showing these things...

You should be careful. [There's no chiding note in his tone; it's blank of emotion.] There is a list of the floors and their dangers, and it may be best to remain on the safer floors.

I- uh, thank you.
Where would I find that list...?

Cafeteria, if you don't mind yet another thread. You're popular!
The look of hopefulness at that? Not exactly the average reaction. He approaches Judas's table without even going for the food line first.
"Excuse me, are...ah, I don't know how to say it. ...You dress similarly to those of my own time."
Not at all! I'm popular with Mini mostly
"Ah, well, these are a little old...what time are you from...?"
Haha, still! Also sorry I'm so slow, I'm recovering from RL being annoying.
