Summary: Yukiko requested a meeting.
Warnings: Persona 4 Arena spoilers, talk about past Tower events, probably some language - not from Yukiko, but from other people.



Before the Meeting:

To say Yukiko was nervous was an understatement. She picked a few notes at the piano she'd chosen to call the meeting together on - she could play a loud middle C, but that was it - now and then, but she was still pacing a little and definitely nervous. Anyone wanting to approach her to calm her down would be most appreciated.

"Welcome." That was as much acknowledgement as he was going to do about this, however. "I can't leave people injured. I'm glad it helped. Too bad even Nervundi couldn't fix that. That was quite an attack on your part as well."

[slightlyoblivious]

"Yeah, I talked to the caster - they said that the only thing that could fix it was time. They got pretty upset when I explained the source for the magic, too, but no permanent damage was done, so far as I can tell."

Yukiko waved a hand in the air. "I'm just amazed it worked. I've never tried casting Agidyne from that kind of distance before."

"It's an unfortunate common occurrence with all of use here, participating against our will, so I can understand how upsetting it is for them. As for Agidyne's strength, the more Persona is used, the stronger it becomes," Naoya said with a good amount of certainty. "That, and being in tune with your selves and wanting to protect others can cause great things to happen."

"I can understand how upsetting it is for them, too. I did my best to reassure them, make sure they knew that I wasn't angry. As for the rest...well, that's true. Maybe she really is my actual true self. I'd been worried about it, since before the Nyarlathotep incident, Amaterasu was my Persona. I downgraded, in a weird way. But that makes me feel better; Konohana-Sakuya has been with me a long time. It makes sense we're so linked."

"Makes sense," he replied, tapping his nose. "The first persona we are given are the closest to us. Before this incident, you hadn't been using your persona on a regular basis, right?"

[slightlyoblivious]

"It had been two months since I'd used it," Yukiko answered. "We'd defeated Izanami, and as such, I didn't need to use Amaterasu. So it does make sense...and it makes me feel better. I'd been thinking I needed to re-awaken the other power, but I don't. Konohana-Sakuya came to me after I accepted my own personal Shadow. The Shadow and Persona can't exist at the same time."

"Wouldn't know," he admitted. "My first shadow was pretty nice and gave me items to unlock my friend's persona. The second one caused trouble in the tower when Izanami caused the fog."
