Hacking #14: Focus

Setting: Floor 28, Floor 39, Floor 22 (Locked to Naoya) and Floor 62 (Locked to Aleph).
Format: Brackets to start with, but I can match you!
Summary: April likes keeping herself busy, especially after all the shenanigans that were going on. So, time to keep herself busy!

[Floor 28]
[April has been practising the piano more and more since she arrived here, and she has really started to improve now. So when she's playing in the music room, she is actually pretty good, and she sings along with what she plays too and she's a rather good singer.

She's completely absorbed in what she's doing though, so she won't really notice if anyone arrives on this floor straight away.]

[Floor 39]
[Despite her bad leg, April does try her best to stay in shape, especially with how her powers could be unreliable in the tower. Plus, it helped her burn off energy when she's feeling nervous, which she is now.

So she can be found running laps, even if she does eventually end up limping near the end of it cause oops leg doesn't approve. She can also be found lifting some weights, and she's able to lift more than you would expect someone of her height to be able to lift. Even if she does get to enthusiastic sometimes and tips back onto her rear end.

[Floor 22/Locked to Naoya]
[She can't help but sometimes wander up to the art gallery, if only to catch glimpses of whar her world once looked like through the paintings.

It's while she's walking around this floor that she spots someone she recognizes.] Ah, Naoya?

[Floor 62/Locked to Aleph.]
[While April was born in a beachside town, she never really went to the beach munch before. But with the heat, heading to the beach floor sounds like a very good idea, plus it means she gets to spend time with Aleph, which is also a good idea.

She just needs to adapt to the heat first before she does anything else. At least she decided that wearing her coat is a really bad idea.]

Uuggghh, it's really hot....

B-because I.. I-I wanted to get this right, b-but I wasn't sure how, s-since my world does things weird a-a-and I don't wanna screw up... [Even though she's already starting to panic.]

Um, so... what are you saying?

I-I'm saying if you would... I-if we could... If its all right to... [She whines to herself, but she doesn't let herself backpeddle like she normally would. So she says want she wants to say in a hurried mumble:] .. W-w-w-would you m-m-m-marry me?

[And then she gets tacklehugged again.]

Wha-

[Tacklehugged again, and April just. Stares up at him.] ... W-w-w-what did you...?

I absolutely will marry you, April.

... Asdfjshcndjdne- Okay she needs to actually think now.] B-but I thought that... I thought... Um... [Thinking straight is hard.]

[alephbet]

You thought that you weren't the best girlfriend in the tower? You're wrong.

[technologic]

[April is surprised her face isn't on fire with how much inner cheeks are burning.] U-um... I... Erm...

[She takes a breath and tries again.] ... B-but it's a-a pretty big thing t-t-though...

I think I'm ready for it. We've been dating for a long time.

[It's especially long if you compare it to his whole lifespan.]

[technologic]

... A-and you're all right with... B-being married to me?

[Of course insecurity rises up again, but she sounds hopeful that he is all right with it, instead of how she used to talk down on herself before.]

[alephbet]

I'd love to be married to you.

[technologic]

[April blinks and the nods, now finally giving him a bright and cheerful smile, probably one of the happiest she's given him.

She's also starting to tear up slightly, and she quickly rubs at her eyes.] Ah, s-sorry, I just... I-I guess I'm r-really happy...

[alephbet]

I couldn't be happier. [He hugs her gently.] So you don't have to cry.

[technologic]

[She hugs him back, resting her head on his chest as she sniffs.] I-I just... I'm really happy a-and I never thought anything l-like this would ever happen a-a-and...

[And she hiccups, and cuddles a bit closer to him.]

I love you, April. I promise that I will never, ever regret being with you.

[technologic]

[April clings to him, her shoulders starting to shake from her crying.] T-t-t-thank you... A-a-and I love you t-too, so m-much.

Thank you. [Cling. Cling back.] I feel the same way.

[technologic]

[There's another hiccup, though it sounds more like a sob, but her shaking dies down slightly as she reaches up to rub her eyes.]

... E-ehe, I-I still can't believe this is h-happening. [She peeks up to give him another happy smile, and decides to lean up to kiss him.]

[alephbet]

[This would definitely be a climactic moment in a Blockbuster romance.]

[technologic]

[Just needs the fireworks and it really would be.

And she's still smiling when she pulls away.] T-though, um, w-w-when should we...?

[alephbet]

Soon would be good.

[technologic]

Y-you mean 'this month' soon?

[alephbet]

I don't think we can fit it in that quick...

[technologic]

... Oh, right! [Derp someone forgot the dates.] I-I had forgot it was the thirty-first, but, um, n-next month?
