[ during individuation event ]
Characters: Anyone!
Setting: Workshop, briefly, but library for the overall setting.
Format: Action most likely.
Summary: After everyone has received their packages in the mail, Sertoria gets to work on distributing messages to people so that they can try to figure this out. Feel free to hijack threads and mingle around as you want! Sertoria will still be around if anyone wants to talk to her.
Warnings: Usual tower warnings, but mark them as needed in your post.
Sertoria had "woken" up early that morning to do her normal routine: Do a little morning patrol to see if anything changed in the tower overnight before checking her mail and the network (she found that the network was unreliable right now when trying to send any messages), and then if she didn't find anything, go work on some projects in the workshop.
However, she found an item in her box and froze while reading the nametag.
CXEV5001.
Either this was someone's cruel idea of a joke or--
Wait a second, didn't Waver say he received something weird in the mail? Sertoria was sure that no one she told about her designation would do something like this to her, so it had to be that. She slipped the nametag in to her robe's pockets and ran down to the workshop to begin writing a message on pieces of paper to distribute.
Everyone will be receiving a slip of paper under their doors roughly in the mid-morning when she's done with the slips of paper, her hands slightly marked with ink. It will read:

image reads: Did you receive something weird in the mail?
If yes, please meet me in the library so we can figure this out.
- Sertoria Cani
After that, she'll be waiting in the library for people to come around.
[ Library ]
Once Sertoria was done distributing her message, she was sitting down on one of the chairs with her legs crossed and head bowed. She was holding the nametag in between her fingers, wondering why this was her "package." Well... Whatever it was, she was sure the tower's residents could figure it out. After all, she believed in them.
When someone does show up, she'll put the nametag away and greet them, forcing a small smile on her face.
"Hello. Shall we get to work?"

She scans the room briefly before noting Sertoia at one of the tables and walks over.]
You have a package as well?
Library
I do. I am to believe most, if not all of us, received one.

When he finds her sitting quietly by herself, he pulls out her crumpled note and tosses it onto a nearby table. ]
I've gotten enough strange messages for today. What do you know?
no subject
What I do know about these packages we received is that it is not a coincidence. I am not sure why we are being sent these, so that is why I have called a meeting so we can figure this out.
no subject
[He was initially planning to take another crack at patching his clothes after breakfast, but noticed surplus activity in the mailroom and realized that he hadn't even bothered to check and see if he had a mailbox, let alone if he'd received any packages since arriving. After discovering what was left for him, Rick immediately regretted ever having this revelation and, in a surprising show of angry frustration, promptly took a lead from Waver and threw the organic part of his package (wrapped in his old sweater, good riddance) into the incinerator on floor 55.]
[...Rick doesn't remember a lot about what happened after that. There was probably vomiting and ugly crying involved, but that was a given. He does remember, however, opening his eyes in his bed after finally catching his breath, the salvaged wedding ring gripped so tightly in his hand that the small gems studding its surface drew blood--and seeing Sertoria's note slid halfway under the door.]
[She might be angry at him, but finding out what's going on--why it's happening--is the only task Rick has to motivate himself to even leave his room again, let alone bathe or eat. He can't tell Sertoria this because his throat burns and he's too terrified of rejection to try and draw her attention to him. So he'll just kind of...stand over here...stare at the floor for a bit...fiddle with the ring in his hand...]
[Three shadow children follow eagerly at his heels. One of them looks rather perturbed.]
no subject
So, instead of being angry at him, she'll just smile pleasantly and decide now would be a good of a time as any to give him a present, especially when she believes this event would not be as kind to them. Then again, with the tower, was kindness and compassion to be expected with how awful it truly could be? ]
Hello Rick.
[ Sertoria gets up and rifles through her cloak to give him a shirt. She didn't know his correct measurements, so she went with her best guess. ]
Here. Um... It is to make up for me yelling at you.

library
[He was very calm, at least visibly. It was only in the faintest lines of an often hard and cold expression that one could detect hints that he was absolutely livid just under the surface.]
[Behind him lingered no less than five shadows, ignored and unremarked upon.]
Library
Well, Sertoria was technically not a human, human-like though she was. She would have his trust for now, though he'd probably be a bit edgy towards "true" humans for a bit. So was his state of mind when he went to the library to meet Sertoria.
Two shadow children followed him in, though he paid them no heed.]
Greetings, Sertoria. I take it that you wish to discuss the rash of packages that everyone seems to have received?
Library
For now, she just sat somewhere in the library, looking over the pamphlet again and again. Six shadow children sat in various places around her.]
This is really rather enlightening.
library
[There were so many shadows trailing behind Labrys that it would be forgivable to mistake them for one enormous one. The tower had not been kind to her in general lately; after receiving her own mail, the android had been so distracted as to fall to one monster or another--she didn't know which and didn't really care.]
[Labrys lingered in the stairwell, clutching a tattered piece of fabric to her chest. No--she shouldn't be here. She couldn't smile like this, couldn't help anyone that needed it. What was the use of this life that survived instead of all the others if she couldn't smile for people that needed it?]
[She spun around in a flash of metal and flourish of a silver-blue ponytail, eyes shut tightly as she tried to escape back to her dorm room.]
Re: library

See? This was what I was up against. And I wasn't even half the size I was now!

Lu-lu-lu-library... obviously
... For Saria's sake. For the sake of all those in their home they failed. So, the green-garbed Hylian can be found quietly standing off to the side against a bookshelf, decked in the usual--sword, shield, etc. Link is quiet for a moment before greeting Sertoria and anyone else who might wander in. ]
... So it was not just me. I imagine they are 'punishing' us for our rebellion. I... received something rather troubling and reminiscent of my home, only destroyed in some form, as if to remind me it was gone.

"Yes," she answered, as soon as she approached the table, setting the jacket down - though she kept one hand on it for the moment. "There's not much to figure out here. This belongs to my best friend, back home. The bloodstains won't come out, and believe me, I've tried. I...whatever it was that attacked Chie, it had to have been bad."
A Shadow, she thought to herself. Bird claws, like the ones her own had.

He scans the room, trying to determine threats with his weak human vision. It's difficult, but he just stands sort of nearby the main crowd of people, hanging on the edges. He's still not great with lots of people.
Library
He had seen Ayaka in the Tower. Had known that she had left. And now there were her glasses, mangled and broken and left to taunt him. He had glowered at the worker units as he had left, had sought out a place where he could cause damage in a somewhat satisfying way.
And now here he was, pensively looking at Ayaka's glasses. For the most part, he ignores the shadow children that had followed him into the library; they had seemed to grow in number since the single one that had appeared yesterday morning.]

...she thought to herself about how much she'd changed, to go from a place where finding a box of tentacles might have been kind of cool once to this, where she had a better handle on what was and wasn't too disturbing to go showing off.
