Summary: It's good to have the tower full. Zett busies himself on various floors, then makes visits to a few important people.

[Floor 14]
[Even if you don't know him, Zett doesn't mind coming up to you and asking:]

Hey, want to play a game with me?

[Unlike some other demons who have made suspicious offers, this one's actually completely innocent. It's good to have people around in the tower again.]

[Floor 81]
[Stargazing is one of Zett's hobbies. He seems to be invested in... making a star chart?

Yes, today, he's decided that they're going to name the tower world's stars if they don't know what other people have called them, and the first step to that is drawing every star down on paper. Don't mess up his drawing.]

[Floor 95]
[If you suddenly get a ball thrown at your back or face, Zett miiiiight be the culprit.]

[Dorms 3-18: locked to Enoch]
[Zett knocks politely on the door before speaking up.]

Uncle Enoch, are you in here?

[Enoch's only got one roommate, so if it's occupied, 50-50 chance... assuming Enoch's alive again.]

[Dorms 1-12: locked to Lucifel]
[This door, he knocks on and then enters without waiting.]

Lucifel, are you in here?

[Alive?]

[Dorms 1-02: locked to Romeo, Gamzee, and Veigar]
[At the end of the day, Zett returns to his room and flops down on his bed. It's good to see the tower full again of people rather than shadows.

No matter who's in the room with him, the conversation begins the same way:] So how've you been?

Less so? But if they're still bad, then wouldn't you still call them bad people?

There's different amounts of badness.

Oh..so they're all counted as bad, but it's different levels? And jerk is one of those levels?

Right. There's lots of words that you can use to get at exactly what you mean.

I know! Yotsuba just doesn't know them all yet, since I'm not a grown-up! But I'll know them someday!

I can teach you, but you'll learn more by reading books. Those have plenty of words.

They do! Some of them are really hard to understand, but there are a lot of nice gems in the sand! Like The Little Mermaid and The Ugly Ducky!

Do you mean 'diamonds in the rough'?

Well..sand can be rough sometimes, and diamonds are gems, so I guess Yotsuba means that. Enoch said that looking through the library was like searching through the sand for gems! And I like the sand and the beach!

Uncle Enoch talks weirdly sometimes, since he's really old.

It's not weird! It's cool! But..what's an uncle? And how old is he?

Really, really old.

An uncle is the brother of one of your parents. It's also used for a close friend of the family. Even though Enoch isn't related to my parents, I call him Uncle because he's a grown-up friend.

Wow..he doesn't look like it though! And Yotsuba understands! Some of your family is here, and he's friends with them, so you can call Enoch your Uncle!

Basically.

[He's... family with himself...?]

[Yotsuba thought that Zett meant that a few other family members of his-like his mother or father-had come to the Tower too, and since Enoch was a close family friend of theirs, Zett was able to call Enoch an Uncle.

That's what she thought, anyway. However, with that explanation over, she lobbed another ball at Zett, smiling.]

[Return fire! Even if he gets hit a few times, this is still fun.]

[This was a lot of fun, especially to Yotsuba who had never done anything like this back home. Sure, they had been planning on making a sling a few minutes ago..but, sadly, that idea had flown out of Yotsuba's brain, thanks to the other topics at hand.

The ball hit her, but she just started laughing a little as she threw another one at him.]

[After a few more volleys, Zett starts talking again.]

Your name's Yotsuba, right? I'm Zett.

It's nice to meet you, Zett! I'm Yotsuba Koiwai!

[For once, she didn't mispronounce his name.]

Have you been in the tower a long time?

[sunflowerfairy]

[And that question puzzled Yotsuba. It was hard keeping track of the months here, since she didn't think there was a proper calendar.]
