Summary: It's good to have the tower full. Zett busies himself on various floors, then makes visits to a few important people.

[Floor 14]
[Even if you don't know him, Zett doesn't mind coming up to you and asking:]

Hey, want to play a game with me?

[Unlike some other demons who have made suspicious offers, this one's actually completely innocent. It's good to have people around in the tower again.]

[Floor 81]
[Stargazing is one of Zett's hobbies. He seems to be invested in... making a star chart?

Yes, today, he's decided that they're going to name the tower world's stars if they don't know what other people have called them, and the first step to that is drawing every star down on paper. Don't mess up his drawing.]

[Floor 95]
[If you suddenly get a ball thrown at your back or face, Zett miiiiight be the culprit.]

[Dorms 3-18: locked to Enoch]
[Zett knocks politely on the door before speaking up.]

Uncle Enoch, are you in here?

[Enoch's only got one roommate, so if it's occupied, 50-50 chance... assuming Enoch's alive again.]

[Dorms 1-12: locked to Lucifel]
[This door, he knocks on and then enters without waiting.]

Lucifel, are you in here?

[Alive?]

[Dorms 1-02: locked to Romeo, Gamzee, and Veigar]
[At the end of the day, Zett returns to his room and flops down on his bed. It's good to see the tower full again of people rather than shadows.

No matter who's in the room with him, the conversation begins the same way:] So how've you been?

*There's another knock on the door, but Enoch cracks it open without waiting for a response. It's clear he's just gotten out of bed. Can you blame him for going right to his guardian's side?*

Lucifel?

No manners, both Zett and Enoch. XD

Uncle Enoch, Uncle Lucifel's depressed. What should we do about it?

*Enoch takes that in, depressed, before looking at Lucifel, lying on the bed. Without another word, Enoch goes to sit beside him, trying to pull the angel up into a protective embrace.

That's what, apparently.*

He's never had to handle anything like this before...

*Granted, most people don't, but angels moreso than any human.*

[Lucifel doesn't say a word, he just stares in disbelief when he is pulled into that embrace. He doesn't want hugs, he doesn't need them, couldn't he just leave him be for a while?]

Hugs aren't that bad. If you keep making that face I'll make it a group hug.

*Enoch smiles softly down at Lucifel, giving him a reassuring squeeze. Or at least, he hopes that's reassuring. Zett's comment gets a quiet chuckle out of him.

Something about this has quieted, though not silenced, Eleven. It's likely his focus on the other two.*

We're here for you.

[Then he should better stop making such a face, one person is already enough.

However. Hearing Enoch say they would be here made him remember his promise to the scribe.

If their worlds were to get restored, then he would probably break it. He doesn't know why and how, just that this is a possible future that awaits him.]

But I won't always be here.

*It's like a punch to the gut. Enoch goes stock-still. He doesn't even breathe. His mind is blank, well, as blank as it can be, shrill scream punctuating the dead pause like a siren until his thoughts tumble into action again, scrambling for cohesion as he tries to understand, why, why.*

No, Zett, no, we're immortal, he's promised, he's the only one who'll never-...

[He stares at his hands, not daring to look up at Enoch.]

The shadows unknown to me spoke of a future they would never have. However not even I know how high the chances are that it would still happen if the worlds are restored.

I don't know why or how...

But apparently the same fate awaits me as that of every counterpart of mine.

[A moment later he buries his face in his hands... and begins to laugh.]

Who would have thought that, huh?

[...no wonder Lucifel's sulking in bed. If Zett were an angel and just found that out, he'd do the same.

He doesn't even wait for Enoch's reaction before hugging Lucifel from the other side.]

*For every breath Enoch sounds he might start crying, he never does. He lowers his head until it's on top of Lucifel's; he's leaning over him with his mouth above his ear. One of his arms reaches around him again,, readjusting and trying to hug both Lucifel and Zett.*

Shh...shh, no, no it's not, Lucifel. The future hasn't happened yet, it hasn't happened, and as long as you're tied up with someone with free will it won't.

I don't even know what I may do but it's a possibility when everything goes back to normal!

[His laughter continues, but eventually it turns into sobbing.]

Why... why might that be my future as well...?

It's not like falling's something to happen to you all of a sudden when you're trying not to, uncle. You can make your own choices and stay like you are.

[Ask the demon in the room what falling really is like. It's not like you trip over a rock and fall one day.]

*Enoch's started crying, too, weeping into Lucifel's hair, but he won't let it stop him from speaking.*

You won't...you know now. You know, you can ask others to point out where you stray...

[A choice isn't even an option. Only humans have a free will, the freedom of making choices. Lucifel's hands still cover his eyes but tears started to run down his face, his hands apparently weren't enough to stop them.]

How could I...?

That's right, you won't. If you don't think you can do it on your own, I'll watch out for you.

*Enoch took a deep breath to control his tears, and hugged him a little tighter with the arm still only around him.* There's nothing to fear, as long as you're with me. I'll keep you safe just as you've done for me.

[How pathetic must he look like right now. His hair isn't styled yet, he is crying - he an archangel, he hadn't known what sadness is all his life - his whole image and his pride as well are suffering from this.]

I don't have the right to choose.

[Zett sighed internally. Who did Lucifel think was choosing for him? A God that was probably dead? Ruana?]

*Enoch drew back so he could tilt Lucifel's face up to look at him. If he would allow it. He wouldn't force it if he resisted.*

God must have chosen me, of all people, to live in Heaven for a reason, am I right? Surely it means He was confident in me, confident I would never stray by my own choice. If my choices will lead to Him, then could you not...follow me, if you ever doubt?

[Zett, there are things about their world you should be taught about. And a choice is not a thing angels have. Making a choice comes with having a free will.

However, when Enoch tried to make him look at him his hands are sliding down, revealing slightly reddened eyes to Enoch and Zett.]
