Summary: Lancer and Mayu wanna try bungee jumping and cow riding.

[After many hours of hard work, the harness and reins were done. The two intrepid individuals were all set to perform their great experiment. Namely, whether or not the fungus-infested cows would make good mounts. And of course, once they got their proof with that experiment,they could turn to the experiment of seeing whether or not someone could jump off the edge of a floating island and survive, provided they were hanging on to a rope.]

[Currently, Lancer is standing on the floating island, trying to find a cow of good enough size. He has his harness, reins, and a wooden pole that he made for an activity that he had in mind just in case the cows were good mounts.]

You ready to go, little lady?

[He calls to his companion.]

Is high leg on cow still called 'calf' I wonder?

Yeah...lots of calves. Now, should we turn this over to get at the other legs, or do you wanna start on the ribs?

Just a second- [planting her foot and pulling on the back leg she was working on trying to yank it loose of all the mostly-severed tendons. One of those times when being a midget is not to her advantage...]

[He puts down the already severed front leg.]

[He comes to stand close behind her and clasps his bigger, bloodied hands over hers.]

Ready...set...pull?

[aaaand-] HEAVE!

[PULLING]

[With their combined effort, the back leg detaches more and more from its body, until it finally pops off.]

[SPLORT]

-And done! Ribs, you said?

[puppy_lancer]

Yep, ribs. They're nice and long bones. Pretty sure we can find some use for them.

[He circles over to the cow's back and, with his hands, feels around for the joints between the cow's ribs and spine. Once he finds the joints, he digs his ax in and starts hacking away.]
