Reflections [backdated to the 24th]
Characters: AU!Repliku and YOU
Setting: Floors 100 (daytime), 93 (nighttime), elevator (daytime/nighttime), and 7 (daytime)
Format: Action brackets to start, can switch to prose
Summary: "Riku" spends some time sulking on the 100th floor because the Tower keeps giving him things he doesn't want, then goes to find something to distract himself. If he doesn't die, he can be found in the pool after that.
Warnings: Standard Tower warnings
Floor 100
[Anyone stepping onto this floor will find Repliku sitting near the staircase and flipping through a thick sketchbook, pausing at some pictures and passing others. One of his hands is smudged with black, and if one takes a better look, they'll notice the small pieces of charcoal sitting next to him. He's been trying to add to the sketchbook, even though he doesn't have much skill with drawing.
But whatever.]
Floor 93
[Luck was not on his side today. He should've gone up instead of down, should've taken the elevator down instead of the staircase, but who could've predicted he'd get stuck between a group of Dusks and...a giant translucent Jello cube? The Dusks seemed content to just block his exit out, standing at one end of the hallway and swaying creepily in unison, and Repliku wasn't sure how many there actually were.
So he decided to face the cube.
Or uh...two cubes. Apparently trying to cut it in half with Strike Raid did not work as well as he'd hoped.]
Elevator
[During the day, you might encounter a slightly grouchy 'ku on the ride down. On the ride back up in the evening, he'll likely be slightly less grouchy, and possibly slightly wet from a dip in the pool.]
Pool (floor 7)
[Around midday or towards the evening, Repliku can be found in the pool, mostly doing laps, but also seeing how far down he can dive before he has to come back up for air.]

Heh. I didn't know you had it in you.
[Is he teasing? Yes, but his tone isn't quite as sharp as it normally is.]
Re: floor 100
He starts when Riku speaks, dropping the charcoal piece into his lap and craning his neck back to see who it is.]
Who...? Oh, it's you. Don't scare me like that. [He's more surprised than angry, as it wasn't really anything embarrassing.]
I...not really. Naminé's a lot better than I am at it.

Still, not too shabby. You gonna try and finish it?
[Finishing drawings requires a ton of patience. More patience than he usually has, and Kairi's always been better at that sort of thing, anyway.
On the upside, they're both miles ahead of Sora's artistic skills.]
no subject
[He'd agree with that. Both of those, especially the part about Sora lacking in artistic skills. Because he really does.]

[So he's just gonna keep watching. Hopefully he won't mind too much.]

...I'd almost take one of Jason's experiments over what Ruana does.
no subject
True. At least Jason isn't trying to pass off his experiments as "games". Plus, he didn't go out of his way to eat one of the only admins on our side.
In this thread, we defend Jason...kinda
Because he's slightly more tolerable, yup
[Pancakes might be simple, but they can be rather tasty in the mornings. He'll admit that.]
People Choppin vs Let's Play a Game
[Yes pancakes yes. And omelettes.]
Sucks when the illusion fails while you're eating, though.
Now combine the two, and what do you get? Operation the game made real?
[Riku's probably lucked out in that regard. Still, now he's imagining biting into ice cream only for a glitch to screw things up. What would that even feel like?]
Yes. You'd be forced to operate on your fellow tower residents.
[Chicken that suddenly turns into a nutrition bar mid-bite loses it's appeal very quickly. As do pancakes.]
Would they all get clown noses?
Darn schadenfreude.]
See, now you've got me curious. Curious and a little afraid.
