Summary: 32 for typical feudal day activities with the half-breed, and 73 for a little exploration

[Floor 32]
[InuYasha still wasn't much of a people person, and his bad run with the shadows, he became even more scarce around the public areas like the lounge and cafeteria. Not that he was use to such unusual modern-like settings. As far as he was concerned, this floor provided the best comfort. Not only did it inhabit nature he was use to, he could also feast here with whatever he hunted. It was hell of a lot better than that crap they served in the dining area.

Currently he could found on the branch of the tree he always lounged on. This place wasn't free of people, not that he minded. Hell maybe he wanted someone to bother him. Not that he would admit it, but he was feeling homesick. The half-breed was fortunate to meet to new people, but no one's he connected with on an intimate level.]

[Floor 73]
[He decided to explore a floor he hadn't searched yet. This one was covered in snow, and more just kept falling. Unlike humans, he didn't need an extra coat to roam without feeling cold. In fact his bare feet barely registered the temperature of the flakes beneath him. With this, he was able to at least busy himself with something. Of all the surroundings, the castle interested him the most, so that's where he was heading.]

[ It seems like his dismissal caused her to tilt her head once again before she shrugs slightly. This is one aspect out of many that made her like people and want to protect them for as long as she was able. ]

I suppose you and I must agree to disagree here. I find it fascinating as I have not experienced a snowfall like this before.

[ She does take notice of the castle in the distance and ponders on it slightly. ]

Were you heading towards the castle? If so, would you like a companion? Maybe I could learn more about you, sir, like your name for instance.

Don't let me spoiler your fun. [Really. Enjoy the snow all you want. He didn't care.]

Do what you want. [Keh, she wanted to know his name too?] InuYasha, not that that's important.

[He'll redirect to what he was doing prior to engaging with her. Which consists of heading to the castle.]

You are not spoiling my fun. I do not mind meeting new people here, especially if they are nice to me.

[ Besides, she can always come back up here with Shiro or someone. Maybe Ganta too... Hm. ]

Of course your name is important, InuYasha! It helps identify you.

[ She easily catches up in tow, slightly swinging her arms at her sides. Someone's happy. ]

[She was definitely weird, but he wasn't what someone would call normal either, so he decided not to comment about it.]

Whatever you say. [Quick to dismiss her again. The demon maintained some distanced between them so he could avoid being overwhelmed. They weren't far from the castle.]

[ It's then that Sertoria decides to be quiet for a while as they were walking, humming a slight song under her breath. Purposefully, she changed the volume of her own voice so that he wouldn't be that bothered by it.

Although, she can't help but pick up on the distance, wondering what that is about. Certainly she couldn't have been that weird, right...? Gingerly, she tries to close the space between them, but will back off if asked. ]

[Her attempt to keep her hum from him was futile. His dog ears instantly picked up on the frequency, but it wasn't like it bothered him all the much in the first place. Under normal circumstances it might have, but he had other priorities.

The half breed certainly didn't ask her too, but he did insist on keeping that level of distance from her.

Well...here they were. InuYasha glanced about the surrounding. It didn't seem like it was even be guarded.In fact there wasn't a scent for miles, save for the girlbot's behind him. InuYasha would enter the castle without hesitation.]

[ When she sees that he's determined to keep some distance in between them, she halts her advance. She even decides to cease her humming as she also thought her song wasn't that good in the first place.

Upon entering the castle, Sertoria slightly increases her defenses just in case if anything happens. So far, so good... ]

Are you searching for something in particular, InuYasha?

No. Just looking to pass the time.

[He was actually hoping for a fight. It was kind of boring here without his friends.]

Typically, how do you pass the time? I normally read or explore here, but I have found sparring works to pass the time.

[ Would you look at that, InuYasha. Looks like you have yourself a candidate. ]

[hardedge]

Nothing extraordinary. I take naps and hunt for food on one floor.

[Of course he wouldn't have to nap so frequently if he actually slept in his bed more than every so often. InuYasha wasn't comfortable in the dorms however, and risked sleeping on the 32nd floor most of the time.]

You spar?

Hunt, hm...? You know, I have been wanting to gather materials just in case for the residents. Since all we are eating is essentially nutrition bars, it cannot be healthy. Perhaps some meat from the monsters would be appetizing to them.

[ Sertoria could attest to that. She could, theoretically, use the pod in the infirmary to sleep in, but that wouldn't be too comfortable for anyone else using it. ]

Yes, I do. I did say I was stronger than a doll.

I heard all about the food.

[He actually never even ate the oatmeal. He has sustained himself on his hunting alone.] Is there even enough stock to feed the tower's population. [He's genuinely curious about that.]

How strong?

[Because he's all for sparring.]

It must be awful to know what your food really is. I cannot process nor taste it myself, but I heard it is hideous.

[ She seems to frown, knowing what the tower can truly do to something so beneficial to humans. At his question, she thinks on it for several seconds. ] I... suppose so? It depends on how much we are able to ration it.

As for my strength, I can do this.

[ She balls her hand in to a fist and takes a swing at one of the walls. There's a visible dent in there, which looks like it's going to crack the brick. ]

I haven't had any myself so I can't say.

[Given that his smell is as sensitive as it is, his taste would be even more keen than that of a human's. He had no intention of trying it.]

Not bad...

[But still not at his caliber.] You don't break easily do you?

[Not that he would intentionally harm her in a spar, but accidents do happen he would feel guilty if he caused her harm.]

You...have not even had the oatmeal? I thought all residents would have to have it at least once.

[ At least, that's what she was told. So, maybe InuYasha is ahead of the curve here with not learning helplessness like Jason taunted them with. ]

I am made out of titanium alloy. It is very hard to break me. And, in the case it does happen, I can just be repaired or have parts replaced.

[ Not that she's intending on that ever from happening. She's really nimble. ]

[hardedge]

Apparently, if you want to eat the rest of the food that is. [Zelda informed him generously.] But since I ain't eatin' any of that food I don't need it.

[At least he was under the impression he didn't.]

The hell's that? [Whatever.] So you're tellin' me you don't mind sparrin' with me?

Huh... You really do learn something new every day. [ She's genuinely surprised here, even if her tone says otherwise. ] Thank you for informing me.

[ She then gestures to the sword at his side, grinning. ] It is similar to the metal your sword is made out of, InuYasha. But, yes, I do not mind sparring with you.

[hardedge]

[...he...wasn't sure how to reply to that.]

Huh? [He glanced at his sword.] Actually this was made out of my father's fang. [As well as his own. It had no metal to speak of.]

[ Slow blink. And another one. ]

I... thought swords had to have been made out of metal. [ Barring her own, of course. ]

--Anyway, have you been anticipating a spar?

[hardedge]

I don't know how to explain it. If Totosai were here, he could... [But he wasn't,]

Anything to spare me from this boredom.

[Like his boring castle. It didn't have anything interesting at all from what he could tell.]

Is Totosai a friend of yours?

[ She does, however, nod and soon begins to walk out of the castle, expecting him to follow her out. Snow would be a new terrain for her to fight in, but she wants the challenge. ]

How much practice do you have with ranged weapons?

[hardedge]

I wouldn't say that...

[He did, still maintaining that level of distance. There was a reason for it. Since the android lacked any demonic aura, there was no way for him to tap in Tetsusaiga's full potential, so he'll just stick to his claws.]

More than enough.

[He popped his knuckles as he flexed his hand.]

[ Sertoria stops midway and opens her hand. Soon, an outline of a rifle comes to her hand and the ammunition is loaded from her wrist. Soon, she cocks the weapon and produces her visor from her head, it sliding over her eyes. ]

Very well.

[ Without warning, she gauges InuYasha's reaction time by firing a shot to his side. If there's one thing to understand about her is that she does not normally wait for her opponent to make the first move. ]

[InuYasha was a force to be reckoned with, and faster than your average person. He was by no means as fast as his elder half brother, and certainly not fast enough to dodge a moder day bullet.

At the very least, when the shot pierced his side, he didn't appear to be too fazed.

He grunted grasping his side.]

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!

[ Were this any other time, Sertoria wouldn't have cared for InuYasha's safety. She would continue firing shot after shot at him, even if he didn't get a chance to recuperate.

However, she widens her eyes behind her visor and soon lowers her weapon, frowning now. ]

...Damn it. I am sorry, I did not mean to harm you! Would you like to just use fists...?

[ It didn't help that she's already hearing her people's voices in her head, telling her that she'll always hurt her friends. ]
