Another place, another high tech device.
Characters: [OU] Allen Walker, and you.
Setting: Room 1-06, Bathroom/Hallway, Floor 81, Floor 38, and Cafeteria.
Format: Either
Summary: Allen wakes up in the tower and finds himself in a situation he's familiar with.
Warnings: Mentions of violence, and head games.
Room 1-06
'Mana' was the cause of everything.
Allen snaps awake and jerks upright with a low hiss. For a second all he can see is where he'd been, on the wrecked city street with the Earl acting stranger than usual. He can still taste the dust in the air and the blood in his mouth. He gingerly reaches up touches the side of his mouth. The blood is still there, but it's dry. He lets his hand drop and looks around at last, his eyes taking in the plain walls and the strange surroundings.
What had happened between the last thing he'd remembered and now? He starts to move his head and notices something is around his neck. "What. The..." His hands come up and brush over metal. "A collar?" Had the Order come and caught him? Had the Earl? He traces the whole way around the metal collar and doesn't find any seam or lock that he could pick.
He finally notices a letter sitting innocently near by and picks it up. Maybe it has an answer for him.
Bathroom/Hallway
His world destroyed? That didn't seem right. It had to be a joke. Within the confines of the bathroom Allen stares into the mirror and uses it to study the thing around his neck. It's not like any sort of collar he's ever seen before. What is with the fluid streaming through it? He taps it with a finger and goes back to washing his face and cleaning up the blood and dust from his person.
He's not going to touch the showers. It could be some trap to catch him. He pauses at that thought and grips the sink. The cool porcelain feels good under his fingers and he laughs quietly. "Maybe I'm being too paranoid." His reflection doesn't answer.
At least the shadow that used to lurk just beyond it is gone. That's better than nothing.
Floor 81
He's seen some really strange sights as he's made his way down the stairs. It's all been so familiar that he can't shake the feeling that Nea might have called the Ark to save them. The idea makes him a little sick. If that's the reality then...he needs to get away from Johnny and Kanda now. Not later. With the cuffs missing he can run to the farthest corners of the world and elude them.
He halts in the middle of walking and stares at nothing. Does he really want to run from them? They said they were trying to help (Kanda did in his own way). As much as he doesn't like to admit it, it's been nice having people around. Allen shakes his head and steps onto the new floor, surprised that he's in something that looks normal.
He perks up at the sight of windows. They look dangerous but he can just use Crowned clown if something happens. ...if it will obey him. He strides to get a good look at just where he is.
Floor 38
Another floor that seems normal. After the last one, Allen's wary. Only the Ark is capable of moving people to impossible places. The tower seems similar and he doesn't like the idea of it one bit. He hasn't seen hide or hair of Timcampy and that bothers him just as much as the rest of the situation. Whatever had taken him. It had singled him out.
This floor is made of glass, and like last time he saw something with a view, he peers about. The uneasy feeling that's been persisting and nagging at him the more he descends, eases just a little bit. Being below the clouds is closer to the ground. He doesn't have a fear of heights but the last view had been alarming. Even the tower the Order had called home didn't reach that high.
Anyone who ventures onto this floor will find him staring down at the floor with a frown on his face.
Cafeteria
Until he knows what's in the food, Allen is going to refuse to eat. He sits at a table by himself with some water and drinks it slowly. He's seen some people as he passes through down the stairs and some really...strange sights. He'd had to go find some spot and dry heave after the flesh and organs floor he'd seen on his way down. All of it just couldn't be done by normal means. Only someone or something that can move through time and space. Allen keeps watching anyone who passes by and sips his water.
Staring is rude but he's a bit too tired and off his usual mood to care. Every now and then he tugs at the collar and tries to yank it off. he'll growl every time he's met with failure. Why do high tech inventions keep being used on him?!

haha no worries and yeah it does
He's more concerned with the talk of death and revival. "But are we still us when we revive?" Or monsters made of metal and out to kill the living. His left hand twitches, as if the weapon agrees. The dead can't come back. It shouldn't be possible.
The person that brings everyone here does have that ability.
A Noah? No. Someone with powers like the Fourteen and Road. "Who is this person manipulating time and space in the tower." It comes out measured, as if he's got a thousand things he wanted to say about it and chose that one. Who is it? Did they know about the 14th. For that matter what would happen if he surfaced here?

What should he call him, besides that? He gives a concerned frown. He doesn't want to just go around announcing what he is to strangers.
"This guy I knew before coming here," there, that's better, "... is still pretty much the same as how I remembered him, even though... he's died several times, here."
To the next question, Luke can only frown a bit and scratch the side of his head, at first, "Really, I have no idea. I just know each... one that is called an "Administrator" has a separate task. One brings us here, one handles the games, another handle the uh... 'network terminal' things such as that, and another... is in charge of experiments. I've only heard back things about that one. I don't quite have names matched to 'jobs' yet, but..."
He pauses a moment to think, "Jason does experiments, Ruana does the games, and then... there's Riki, the nicer one. So far, that's all I have. I could even be wrong, though."
He lets out a slightly sheepish laugh and scratches the back of his head, before his expression falls again, "I am sorry you had to end up here, though. Hopefully, you'll be able to adjust, somewhat. Oh!"
He seems to remember something important, which... it is, if Allen doesn't want to pass out at random, "Your collars--you have to go to the infirmary once a week to get them checked out. If you don't go on your assigned day, which you can find out at the infirmary, then you pass out at random the following day. They... will come and drag you down there, while you're unconscious."
He lets out a faint and slightly irritated laugh, "They've... had to drag me several times."

Our personalities stay intact.
That's not so comforting when souls trapped in Akuma are still them but they suffer. It always comes down to pain in the end, doesn't it?
"Can you tell me about these games and experiments? ...just why are they doing this."
The second part comes out quieter than the question. He doesn't expect an answer.

He leans forward, resting both forearms on the table, "I heard a lot of people die during the games, and the experiments can result in... you doing things you don't want to do--like killing your friends."
He swallows hard.
"None of us know why. We know that there's limited time here, though. There's a countdown on the terminals in the dormitories. It's counting down to a 'power outage', supposedly. I-... I don't know how true it is. Or what might happen when and if it happens."
Reaching up, he ran a hand through his hair.
"Some of the administrators seem to be doing it for the... fun of it, though... from what I've heard."
no subject
Monsters.
Even if the way out appeared now, he wouldn't be able to leave until he dealt with the admins. He can't ignore what they're doing. "Did anyone explain why there's a limited amount of time?"
He's calm about it. It's the one thing not upsetting him. Living with a countdown over his proverbial head is something Allen knows best. He leans back, folding his arms over his chest while he adds what he's being told to the over all puzzle. "How long have you been here?"
no subject
He isn't really sure about a lot of things; though, there is the fact that he hasn't been here all that long. The redhead props his chin on a hand and gives Allen a sideways glance, "I've only been here about two weeks. Though, on Auldrant, it would be the equivalent of one week."
Auldrant... that place is gone, now, apparently...
Ignoring the sick feeling in his stomach, he forces a smile, "I'm Luke, by the way."
no subject
The word makes the sick feeling rise his stomach and he sips his water to hide it. Home. If all that was said was true...
His hand clenches on the cup and he stops it from crushing it at the last second.
No.
Everyone had to be okay. Lenalee, Lavi, Komui, Johnny- the names all passed through his mind's eye even those who had been less than kind once he'd been arrested.
All of them mattered. "But, I'll do everything I can to help find the answers. I specialize in fighting, but I've got a lot of talents I can put to use here. "
