Format: I'll match.
Summary: Karkat is fucking tired of laying around in bed after nearly a month -- not quite fully healed, he's venturing out to try and get to the library. And its taking a longass time.
Warnings: Usual Bluekat warnings.

Karkat extremely done with being pinned to a hospital bed feeling like shit. Thankfully, the horrible paranoia finally subsided long enough for him to pull himself forcefully out of his bed to wander out of the infirmary. Every one of his limbs was extremely stiff, as he hadn't gotten out of bed without help since his arrival. Now he knows why.

Cripple or not, Karkat has an image to keep. He's not going to take the time to shrug his dress shirt on, but he pulls his jacket off the coat rack to cover up the bandages still wrapped around his torso. His arm remained in the cast, but the sling had been disposed of a few days ago.

There was no way to fix his hair, so his hand would have to do until he could locate a fucking comb or something. At least he didn't look like a complete frump. At least not until he started to try and climb the stairs. He would only reach the next floor up before he started to run out of breath.

Stupid spiderbitch and her stupid problems fucking up his physical health.

[She sighs, giving his sleeve a gentle tug.]

Just sit down already!

Jeez, demanding tonight.

[But he obeys and moves around and plops down on the couch comfortably.]

[She turns her head towards him, then scoots closer hesitantly. After a second or so, she shoves her reservations aside and rests her head on his shoulder.]

[Karkat raises an eyebrow at Terezi when she leans against him, leaving her there for a moment before maneuvering his shoulder out from under her head in order to turn himself to rest against the arm of the couch and leaving her head to fall against his chest instead.

His uninjured arm rests against the couch while the injured one seeks to drape itself along her stomach. He doesn't bother saying anything.]

[Wow, this is much more intimate than she was expecting. She can hide her blush by burying her face into his chest, at least, but that doesn't really prevent him from picking up on her emotions. Stupid Thief of Heart crap, it's totally cheating. There's butterflies in her stomach again, and while part of her is still a little confused and hesitant, most of her really doesn't care. This is nice, and yes, he is totally succeeding in wooing her.]

[Its a rather unfortunate state of affairs, as his player title was rather apt for his personality type. Sensing her emotions and feelings in regards to his actions only encouraged him to continue -- regardless of whether or not he would have to face the music later on.

His finger tips appear abnormally warm to the touch -- and that wasn't even including the fact that his whole being already appeared far too comfortable to be normal. Despite all of that, he didn't make a point to encroach on her space -- she would have to invite him, lest he be accused of using his powers to manipulate her.

That didn't stop him from splaying his fingers a bit experimentally across her stomach before they came to rest again. After all, they got stiff in that cast pretty quickly.]

[She is 0kay with this. Mostly, at least. It takes her a second to get used to his touch and relax again, but once she does, she slips her arms around his middle. Pretty much an invitation, whatever that means.]

[Karkat's hand moved to the side of her when she shifted to wrap her arms around him, deliberately taking his time in moving it up to her shoulder with the warmth still following in a trail.

When he finally reached it, he attached a grip and turned to glance down at her. He was able to keep himself from that smug smirk this time.]

[Savoring that, yup. And then leaning back against the arm and letting his head hang over it lazily. In truth, this really isn't comfortable on his ribs, mostly because they're bandaged so tightly.]

[He chuckles softly, likely due to his positioning on the couch.]

[He lifts his head to flash that smirk.]

[She leans forward swiftly to lick his cheek. Definite payback for making her so squirmy before.]

[That wakes him up. His whole body seizes up for a moment and a shudder runs up his spine, the hand that had been resting on her promptly clapping over the area to hide the sudden blush.]
