I do not know if either of us should risk the rubble in this condition.
But, I could heal either of us, should we fall.
[ If he were to drop the camera, however, that would be a lost cause. ]

[She trails off, her brow furrowing as she thinks. Her fingers clutch his sleeve just a little tighter. Finally, she says:]
If we can get to the elevator, there's another lounge room on the first stop down from here. We can stay there until this goes away.
[Not that she can say for certain that it will, but... Every time she's seen someone altered in this place, they eventually return to normal. For the time being, she has to assume that's the case here, too, if only so they can choose the most practical course of action for the immediate future.]

Very well. [ He shifts his foot across the ground, nudging aside some small pieces of rubble. ] Keep hold of my arm.

Her grip on his arm is an odd distraction. She clutches at him with a desperation, but her strength is not great. He imagines her fumbling, falling... he might not be in any position to help her, if she did, for he is equally near-blind.
That thought lingers. ]
There will be a step here. [ He tests it, resting his own foot on it, and it rocks beneath his heel. ] The rubble is even.

[When he tells here there's a step, she nods, though that's probably hard to see beyond the slightest of wavers, if he bothers to look at all.]

[It's cautiously that she lifts her foot, trying to feel her way. At least she can stay balanced like this on her own.]
