Summary: The event is over and everyone who was stuck in the dorms needs a serious bath.
Warnings: Post-event shenanigans? Also baths so p much everyone is at least partially naked.

And so now that you've made your way free of the hell that is the dorm rooms -

This floor mimics a sauna--there are three entrances: one for men, one for women, and one for mixed. Inside each room is the wooden interior one would expect. Outside each area is a small changing room with lockers--if you look, you'll find one with your name on it. The locker will only open up for you. It might be a good place to store things, actually...

- it's time for everyone to take a bath! There's both hot, steamy stalls and large hot spring pools - but you'd better hurry! It's gonna get crowded in here kind of fast.

And hey, keep that towel closed, there's children in here!

"There's too many blasted people in here."

"Other than that, I'm about as good as one can expect to be after that mess."

"Why not wait until there are less people here, then?"

Her excuse is she just didn't care how many people there were here. It was a bath meant to be enjoyed and there were plenty of times she could have been here.

"I tried that and got all but pushed in."

Bullied into it by a much younger kid, really. But he's sure as hell leaving that out.

"I suppose since I'm already here there's not much point in leaving to come back later, is there?"

"No and if you wait long enough the crowd should thin out."

She looks at him lazily, letting herself sink down into the water again.

"If you wish me to leave at that time, I will not mind. I can always go to the women's bath."

"I'm not going to kick you out, for god's sake. You're one of the few people I could probably tolerate right now."

"Were you trapped upstairs as well?"

[fionnuisce]

"Yes--I was stuck with Diarmuid, Cu Chulainn, and a few others." Judging by his tone, it had been quite the ordeal. "It was...a bit crowded, to say the least."

"Mine was as well. Gilgamesh, Shinji, Sephiroth, Cerberus, and...." She shifts a bit uncomfortably thinking about the last person before she finally says it:

"Avenger."

"..."

Waver's hand moved to the scars on his shoulder like he'd just been given an uncomfortable reminder at the sound of that last name, but he made a conscious effort not to show much else as a reaction.

"Did he give you any trouble?" Gilgamesh or Avenger? It was hard to say.

"Not really." Again, hard to tell if it were Gilgamesh or Avenger she's speaking of. Due to backthreading taking place.

She did, however, notice the hand on his scars, but did not say a thing. The gesture could mean anything, after all.

"I am surprised you managed to retain your sanity at all with the confinement."

"Why wouldn't I? The only thing driving me insane is how damned stupid everyone else was acting." He shrugged, indifferent.

"...About Avenger. I'd like to ask, what do you know about him?" Whatever he was, Waver didn't honestly know or understand. And that was probably more of a risk to his sanity than any confinement.

That took away her cat-like smile quickly. She knew the question would have been coming at some point, especially with what she now knew about Avenger, but did people have to keep asking about things like that in places like this? It would have been one thing if it were just the two of them here, but the Springs were currently crowded. What could have possibly made Waver think this was a good place to ask about a subject like Avenger?

"I'd prefer to talk about that someplace more private."

What was with people asking her about issues like this in crowded areas.

He was kind of stupid like that. For what it was worth, he immediately reconsidered at Saber's answer.

"...Fair enough. What I have to say on the matter isn't the kind of thing any smart individual would run around shouting about."

How troublesome.

"When you're ready to get out, let me know. We can go talk about it then."

Or leave now and come back when the baths are less crowded to soak.

"Take your time; while I can't call it an unimportant matter, I don't think it will be some great catastrophe to not address it right this second."

"All right."

Only now she can't relax, knowing she'll have to tell him just why she erased her own memory once he's nice and pruny from the bath.

"Have you been alright otherwise? I hope the most recent calamity wasn't too much trouble for you."

"It wasn't. Mostly it was annoying being trapped in one room and being unable to do anything about it."

[fionnuisce]

"Hopefully yours wasn't as overcrowded as mine." he remarked with clear exasperation to his words. "I think there were seven of us stuck together."

She actually began to count on her fingers. Gilgamesh, Cerberus, Avenger....

"Six of us. Except with Cerberus's size it may as well have been nine or ten."

[fionnuisce]

"...hm. Maybe we didn't have it quite as badly as I thought."

At least they were all relatively normal-sized. (Or less so, in Ken's case.)

"It wasn't so bad. The children could still take their beds and Gilgamesh and Avenger were relatively well-behaved during it."
