Summary: The event is over and everyone who was stuck in the dorms needs a serious bath.
Warnings: Post-event shenanigans? Also baths so p much everyone is at least partially naked.

And so now that you've made your way free of the hell that is the dorm rooms -

This floor mimics a sauna--there are three entrances: one for men, one for women, and one for mixed. Inside each room is the wooden interior one would expect. Outside each area is a small changing room with lockers--if you look, you'll find one with your name on it. The locker will only open up for you. It might be a good place to store things, actually...

- it's time for everyone to take a bath! There's both hot, steamy stalls and large hot spring pools - but you'd better hurry! It's gonna get crowded in here kind of fast.

And hey, keep that towel closed, there's children in here!

[Arturia is just going to get up from her spot luxuriating in the heat of the baths. Seeing Zelda here, how exhausted she is, she comes up behind her and begins to rub her back.]

Thank you, for freeing us.

[Because she knows Zelda would have tried, regardless of what had happened down here. She would have helped somehow, even if it were as simple as tended to the weary and wounded.]

[There's a pleased little sound, and she rolls her shoulders a bit in response, a gentle smile creeping onto her lips despite her still closed eyes.]

Of course. [Because Arturia has her down to a T, and she doesn't have the will to argue modestly.] You would have done the same.

[The sound makes her smile and she moves her hands further down. Arturia isn't the best at backrubs--this is literally the first time she's ever given anyone one--but she's learned in this Tower that sometimes the gesture of comfort is enough.]

I know. It still deserves thanks.

[At this point anything feels good so long as it doesn't involve climbing stairs or moving rubble. Her back arches slightly with the touch, and she peers over her shoulder through the corner of her eye.]

I am only sorry it took so long. Did you have any hallucinations? Riki said there had been a psychoradiation leak.

[And of course they know all about that, don't they.]

Ah, so that's what it was.

[She had had suspicions when her wrist had been broken, which only got confirmed when the room began to look as if it were a medical lab of some sort.]

At first I thought it was a result of the phantoms. There were constant giggles and scratches outside the door.

I did not see any in the brief moment we had before the "soft reset" after we had cleared a path, though that is hardly telling.

[She honestly wouldn't be surprised if the next version of phantoms turned out to be invisible, really.]

But it is concerning. Should the explosions continue, the entire residential area might be contaminated next.

I wish I knew where the explosions were coming from. No one we know seems to have any idea.

['No one' being 'Aria', though she's not sure Zelda will pick up on it. It's the best she can do out in the open.]

[Fortunately, she spent years training in the art of Double Meanings.]

Indeed. Unless there is some other force we are unaware of-- [i.e. other than Aria.] --then the only possible culprits are the administrators themselves. Yet I cannot begin to imagine a motive for any of them to do so.

[Not that the lack of a discernible motive is enough to stop her from suspecting them. Their reasoning is more often than not beyond her.]

[And it's not like they truly know any of the Administrators well enough to know.]

I brought up the possibility the explosions could be part of the Tower itself breaking down. Cerberus said that it is unlikely, but.... well. I am unfamiliar with these machines. Is it not possible that things are breaking further?

It could be. Though if that were the case I would be surprised that Riki has yet to find as much. He instructed us to watch out for bombs amidst the rubble after the second set of explosions hit.

[Though as far as she is aware, no one found any.]

True. If there is anything Riki seems passionate about, it's the workings of the Tower itself. [She remembers how much pride he took in the meeting just before the explosions.]

Which leaves Jason, Ruana herself, and some unknown, invisible entity we will have to contend with as well as possible culprits.

[Guess who has two thumbs and so does not need that in her life.]

... When Riki had us investigating the rubble, I saw... arms that looked similar to the ones we fled from. For a long while, they were only visible through the pictobox-- ah, "camera" I was using, and they could never touch me, so I assumed it was due to the psychoradiation...

[But with Ruana's powers, who even knows.]

Do you suppose the arms we saw downstairs were part of the psychoradiation?

[....She still needs to ask someone about where the psychoradiation is coming from. A shame. That should have been one of the things she asked Riki once she had the opportunity.]

[She shakes her head.]

I do not think so. The psychoradiation is due to the way the power cores were shut down, correct? [That's what Aria said, anyway.] Besides, despite her seemingly cheerful disposition, Ruana is a woman with many secrets. It would not be unreasonable to think she would have some kind of security around her personal space, even if the only ones who would normally be able to access it are her own subordinates.
