Summary: The event is over and everyone who was stuck in the dorms needs a serious bath.
Warnings: Post-event shenanigans? Also baths so p much everyone is at least partially naked.

And so now that you've made your way free of the hell that is the dorm rooms -

This floor mimics a sauna--there are three entrances: one for men, one for women, and one for mixed. Inside each room is the wooden interior one would expect. Outside each area is a small changing room with lockers--if you look, you'll find one with your name on it. The locker will only open up for you. It might be a good place to store things, actually...

- it's time for everyone to take a bath! There's both hot, steamy stalls and large hot spring pools - but you'd better hurry! It's gonna get crowded in here kind of fast.

And hey, keep that towel closed, there's children in here!

[Romeo and baths don't get on that well, he still has a young boys aversion to washing but this was less like washing and more like swimming, swimming in warm water. So poor Diarmuid is about to have his peace disturbed by a huge splash as Romeo jumped into the water] Sorry mister Diarmuid! [He doesn't like like a child who was locked in a room and exposed to levels of psychoradiation for a week, but that's normal, for Romeo.]

[Diarmuid opens one of his eyes and smiles slightly at the boy. He hasn't seen him for a while, and Romeo's relaxed nature is something he can really use right now.

He is trying to remember how relaxing works after all.]

It's all right, Romeo. I trust the week wasn't too bad for you? Were you in a room or downstairs?

It wasn't too bad no. [He smiled] I was in a room, what about you sir?

I was in a room as well. With several of my friends.

[He opens his other eye, moving closer to where Romeo is sitting in the water so they can more easily talk.]

Were you with people you knew too?

I'm glad you were with your friends sir! [He smiled] I was with Dave and Dave, I knew one of them before, and miss Chidori, mister Jounachi as well but I didn't know him before, and mister Jin as well.

[Diarmuid smiles and shakes his head.]

You don't have to call me 'sir,' Romeo. Just Diarmuid is fine. I don't think I know any of those names. Wait..

[He pauses a moment to turn one of the names over in his head.]

Did you say Chidori? I think Ken mentioned a friend by that name. Did she happen to mention knowing someone named Ken?

Do you know Ken, mister Diarmuid? He's my best friend! [He nods] Chidori is his sister, except she's not really because they don't got the same parents but I don't think that really matters, I never had the same dad as my brothers and they were still my brothers and all the Black Brothers were my brothers even though we all came from different places.

Is he?

[Diarmuid gives Romeo a surprised look.]

What a coincidence. I just recently met him and he was trapped in the room with me. You are lucky to have such a good friend. Ken is a very strong and mature person.

He is! [He nods with a grin] He is a great person mister Diarmuid, I'm glad you were with him, because he sometimes finds it difficult to keep his spirits up but he is really brave. He is our leader, our group I mean, of all the kids in the tower. He makes sure we can help everyone.

He is very brave and very strong. Ken has been through a lot, but he keeps moving forward. Even if his spirits fall sometimes, I can't imagine him ever giving up.

[When Romeo mentions the group, Diarmuid smiles.]

Yes, he told me about your group. I am very glad to hear that you all are banding together to help each other and others. We are always stronger when we work with others, and I think that is doubly true for those of you who are younger.

[Romeo nodded, proudly. He is proud of Ken because he is really strong and brave and never gives up, he is glad that Diarmuid sees that too.] It is! Lots of people think because we're small we shouldn't got to fight or help but we have to live here too, and we want to help stop the bad people and help everyone. Because it's really bad to not do anything when your friends are being hurt.

That is very true. Everyone wants to help their friends when they are in trouble. It doesn't matter what age they are.

[Diarmuid understands why people wouldn't want children fighting. He used to feel the same way, but it's really not an option in a place like this. If people don't fight, they die. While it would be nice to always have an adult to be with the children so they don't have to fight, ti's not always possible. Had he not tried to see that there was always someone to be with Yotsuba? That had never worked out and it was why he had reluctantly accepted it when she had started carrying weapons with her.]

Will you tell me more about your group and what you do? Maybe there is something I can do to help out.

Well we have meetings and talk about things like what has happened and what we can do to help. We also have lessons on fighting and things, Ken is a good fighter so he teaches everyone. Some people don't got weapons so I make them knives like mine, I made one for Yotsuba because she was scared that the monsters would eat her.

And sometimes, like when we all had to collect candy... where you here then mister Diarmuid? We worked together to make sure that everyone had enough and shared it all out. [Not that they hadn't all died anyways]

[Diarmuid shakes his head.]

I wasn't here, though I have heard people talk of that event. I am glad you were able to help each during such a hard time.

[He smiles gently when Romeo mentions the knife.]

She told me about that and I am going to help her learn to use it better. It sounds like you know a lot about using knives yourself. Is that right?

[He pulled a face and shook his head] Not really mister Diarmuid, I had some people teaching me but they're all gone and so I practice all the time and fight monsters and I haven't died in a long time but I don't really know a lot, I just do it and it sometimes works.

While knives are not my favored weapon, I do use swords in addition to spears. If you would like some more training, I can train you.

[His smile widens as an idea pops into his head.]

Perhaps you and Yotsuba could come together and learn?

Could we! That would be fun, I tried to teach Yostuba a bit, she's good at learning!

Of course you can.

[Diarmuid reaches out to ruffle Romeo's wet hair.]

I would be very happy to teach you both. All teachers love students who really want to learn and are quick learners.

I love learning! [He grins] Thank you mister Diarmuid.

You are very welcome, Romeo. It's good that you love learning so much. Never stop.

[He laughs, suddenly, and then shakes his head.]

Well, it's okay to stop sometimes. Like now. Why don't you go enjoy the water? I don't want to keep you from having fun.

I won't! [He smiled and nodded] Okay sir! I need to go and find Ken anyways! [He reached out to grab Diarmuid's hand, even though he was an adult he was a nice one] Remember to keep your spirits up!

[Diarmuid gives Romeo's hand a squeeze, the gesture appreciated.]

I will do my best. Tell Ken hi for me when you find him, okay?

I will! See you later mister Diarmuid.
