Summary: The event is over and everyone who was stuck in the dorms needs a serious bath.
Warnings: Post-event shenanigans? Also baths so p much everyone is at least partially naked.

And so now that you've made your way free of the hell that is the dorm rooms -

This floor mimics a sauna--there are three entrances: one for men, one for women, and one for mixed. Inside each room is the wooden interior one would expect. Outside each area is a small changing room with lockers--if you look, you'll find one with your name on it. The locker will only open up for you. It might be a good place to store things, actually...

- it's time for everyone to take a bath! There's both hot, steamy stalls and large hot spring pools - but you'd better hurry! It's gonna get crowded in here kind of fast.

And hey, keep that towel closed, there's children in here!

Yes, especially a corrupted war. I really shouldn't let the people I met there color how I see modern people so much.

Because of how often they are corrupt? I can't say that I blame you there. Power so easily corrupts people...

I know that's not always the case, but it has been so often in my experience that I'm suspicious of everyone who holds it.

They are. All of them besides Zo, perhaps.

Zo is definitely the most sympathetic.

I would prefer not to. I think not only would you and I have problems with that, but a great many others in the Tower would as well.

Most people in this tower wouldn't want to hurt a child, especially not one who tries not to hurt us.

Lets hope that doesn't lead to us failing in the end... If he ends up turning on us...

If that happened... I think there are enough of us who could be ruthless, as well.

[He knows of a few of them. It just makes him uneasy to think about depending on them for anything.]

I know it's hard to think of having to do something like that... but it can happen that you have to raise your sword against someone you don't want to. Children, friends, anyone.

[Aleph sounds like he's trying to be detached.]

[Diarmuid's eyes suddenly narrow, and for a moment, all he can think of is how he had refused to raise a blade to Fionn even though his lord wished him dead.]

No. There are those who I will never fight--never raise a blade to. Perhaps that makes me a coward, but it is the truth.

[Not that there are a lot of places to run in this place, but if he had to run again, he would pick that over fighting certain people.]

No, not better. Different, perhaps, but not better. Our worlds are very different...

They are. I try not to be jealous, and sometimes it even works.

Ah... it's not very becoming to me to say this, but. It just seems like I could have lived an easier life in some other world.

It might not be becoming, but it is human, and my friends tell me all the time that it isn't wrong for me to feel things like that. I would say the same is true for you. You have every right to act human and feel human feelings.
