Summary: The event is over and everyone who was stuck in the dorms needs a serious bath.
Warnings: Post-event shenanigans? Also baths so p much everyone is at least partially naked.

And so now that you've made your way free of the hell that is the dorm rooms -

This floor mimics a sauna--there are three entrances: one for men, one for women, and one for mixed. Inside each room is the wooden interior one would expect. Outside each area is a small changing room with lockers--if you look, you'll find one with your name on it. The locker will only open up for you. It might be a good place to store things, actually...

- it's time for everyone to take a bath! There's both hot, steamy stalls and large hot spring pools - but you'd better hurry! It's gonna get crowded in here kind of fast.

And hey, keep that towel closed, there's children in here!

[ Huh. It's... warm. Really warm. Not the way that hospital was so cold and white and sterile, not a single sign of life, not a single sign of love--

It's so warm that she almost chokes for a moment, but then she just leans into the hug. Urotsuki doesn't make a sound as she does so, but there's still something desperately even about her very movement, the way she tries to bury her face against Taiki. ]

[Taiki just held her very tightly trying to keep her safe and chase away all her bad thoughts, so she didn't have to be scared any more.] Hugs are always warm... and safe.

[chainsawn]

I.. won't have to see it anymore.. right..? The hospital's going to go away now..?

[notagiraffe]

I hope so... I hope it stays away and you won't have to see it ever again...

[chainsawn]

I don't want to see it anymore. Ever. [ She doesn't want to be reminded of those memories anymore. Even in her dreams they never end well, after all, unlike everything else. ]

Next time I see it, I'll.. kill it.. [ Entirely stable, clearly. ]

[notagiraffe]

No... [He spoke quietly, almost a whimper, burying his face into her shoulder] Sorry... you can't kill... please don't.

[ She doesn't shove Taiki off her or anything though, it's really just a question. She still lets him hug her as close as he wants to. ]

That way.. it'll go away forever, after all..

[notagiraffe]

Because killing is bad... you shouldn't kill anything... sorry... Even if it makes it go away...

[chainsawn]

But.. if something tries to kill you.. you got to kill it back. Or you'll die. And if you don't kill something that hurts you, then it'll hurt you..

[notagiraffe]

"But it's bad... you just shouldn't kill... or hurt anything..." His voice was soft and he was beginning to tremble with the thought of it.

[chainsawn]

You're shaking.

[ She can feel it like this, after all. Her tone is pretty dry though, like it's a simple observation more than anything else. ]

... Why..? Is it.. really that bad to you? [ Even though it's so natural to her most of the time, especially in this place. ]

I'm sorry... um... [He doesn't stop hugging though, because he promised] I'm a kirin... violence is bad...

[ For a moment she pauses. It's probably since Urotsuki is overthinking the word. "Kirin"..? She's never heard of it before, as far as she can remember. ]

A kirin? Um... It's a creature... we are sent by the gods to chose the king... And help them stay on the right path.

[chainsawn]

Then.. even gods couldn't stop you from being dragged here.. even gods couldn't stop you from being torn away from the king. [ Even gods can't help the fact that people get seperated, huh.. ]

[notagiraffe]

No... [His voice falters] They couldn't... my king got brought here too... but he's gone now...

[ Again. How many times has it been already that she's lost someone that close to her? ]

I'm sorry... that's really bad... I hope... we will get him back... all of them [He hugs her tightly again]

[ For a few moments she's quiet.

Then she finally pulls out of the hug and takes a step backwards, staring at Taiki like she's only now taking the other person in for the first time. ]

.. I think this is enough.. for now. I can't get too warm, or I'll be so filled with happiness that I'll burst. [ How that blank tone is "happiness" in any way though is anyone's guess.. ]

[notagiraffe]

[He's used to Keiki so the blank tone doesn't worry him in the slightest. He let go and wriggled backwards again] Well... if you ever need more happiness, you can come and find me...

[chainsawn]

What room are you staying in? .. Or should I come find you somewhere else?

[ Taiki is now the walking happiness dispenser. ]

[notagiraffe]

I am in room 2-20! And um... If I'm not there I will probably be in the meadow or in the lounges because I have to wash the windows for my job... [Yay a job he is good at!]

[chainsawn]

.. 2-20.. meadow.. lounges.

[ She repeats it to herself. She nods at him, raising a hand as if she's waving him goodbye, and then she's already walking away while repeating those words to herself over and over.

She's totally normal. ]

[He nods and watches her walk away before sinking under the water a little bit, he should get out soon, he's been here a while. He doesn't think her strange at all.]
