And so now that you've made your way free of the hell that is the dorm rooms -

This floor mimics a sauna--there are three entrances: one for men, one for women, and one for mixed. Inside each room is the wooden interior one would expect. Outside each area is a small changing room with lockers--if you look, you'll find one with your name on it. The locker will only open up for you. It might be a good place to store things, actually...

- it's time for everyone to take a bath! There's both hot, steamy stalls and large hot spring pools - but you'd better hurry! It's gonna get crowded in here kind of fast.

And hey, keep that towel closed, there's children in here!

It could be. Our witnessing the phenomena was presumably due to the psychoradiation leak that Riki mentioned.

I've been exposed to it before, and it... *He shakes his head.* It wasn't cohesive like this. Apparitions of blood, plants, and distortions of writing were the only effects I saw. But an entire scene, as if we were somewhere else?

[ He asks, before shaking his own head. He takes the older man's information with a tiny grain of salt, since this place's mental effects and lol sense. ] Then I'm afraid I'm at a loss of how to explain the matter. It could be that we witnessed the past of this place somehow like you suggest, but that makes little sense.

Many of us attempted to infiltrate the lower levels. It was there we were exposed to it. ...We've poisoned them. When we damaged their energy source...

*He does feel guilty for all - or almost all - of them, but mostly, Zo... Pandora and its allies had poisoned a child...*

[ Oh, yeah. One of those infiltrations of the lower levels. That recent one had been mounted by the resistance, Pandora and its allies. But another part of that catches his attention: ] Poisoned? Are you saying that those energy cores don't just sustain the Tower itself, they keep the administrators' alive as well?

[ Or was Enoch saying that the psychoradiation poisoned them? ]

No...when they were damaged, they flooded the lower levels with psychoradiation... They've been protecting our levels from it completely all this time, even though we were the ones that caused it.

[ Ah. That's it. He sinks down into the water a little. ]

I see.

[ Then flatly; ] Their deplorable treatment of us was what spurred us to that to begin with, so to a small extent they are reaping what they have sown.

... I do not care if they have drudged up the common courtesy to protect us from some of the consequences for the time being. If they were going to take us here at all, they should have been doing that to start with. Their prior actions have allowed inexcusable abuse and unrest.

[ And unfortunately, Hidetoshi, while he felt sympathy towards Zoe and Dax to an extent, wasn't overly kindly-disposed towards the administrators. ]

*Hidetoshi may be unimpressed, but to Enoch it's remarkable. They don't seem the type to normally be inclined to protect them from the consequences of their own actions. He settles into the water, himself, glancing at his sleeping guardian back where he left him. Instinctively, he feels he should return to Lucifel's side, but he knows there's no reason for him to do so.*

...Zo, at least, did nothing to deserve it.

[ Hidetoshi wipes some water off his forehead to stop it from dripping into his eyes, and looks discontented. ]

It's... not uncommon for children to suffer the fallout of adults' decisions, unfortunate as that is.

I hope we can make things right for him as well as us...
