Needing space
Characters: Capell and open
Setting: Floor 31 (cobblestone outdoor area)
Format: Either
Summary: Being stuck in a room for a week has taken it's toll, Capell needs to be outside, and music happens
Warnings:
Capell held the pieces of cloth for a moment when he found them in his trunk, Fayina's voice rang in his ears, one of her final requests from him. He wondered what she had wanted them for, he had almost forgotten about it with all that had happened but now he realised he would never find out.
He put the cloth back in his trunk and stood up. The last week had taken it's toll and despite his bath the confinement still clung to his skin. He left his room and made his way down the stairs, it was strange that this place had been almost destroyed by the explosions and now there was only dust to remind them.
It was a long way down but he finally stopped on the cobblestone roof, moving to the edge to sit cross legged and look out at the barron world he had found himself in.
He had been here a month already and it was difficult to believe. He missed his friends, even if he had met people here and the last week had been strange. Ghosts and frightened silence, screams from nearby cut out, leaving their fates to the imagination.
He raised his flute to his lips almost unconsciously and began to play, his first song was a sad one, a song of sorrow for lost friends.
It drifted into the emptiness of the air around him.

She hadn't been expecting the music, though, and it's with a tilted head and a curious expression that she wanders to find the flutist.
It doesn't take long, but she waits until the tune is over before speaking up.] That was a lovely song.

[She's just gonna sit down nearby because well, why not? It's good to take a break sometimes, especially when you've just been dealing with S T A I R S.
(And she'd know how much of a nuisance too many stairs can be...)]
Are you a composer or something?

[Dismissive wave.]
That's tech for you, I guess. Not the same as someone actually making music, though.

He was surprised to see his companion from the room incident as the one playing. Nevertheless, he sat down slowly, closing his eyes and listening to the mournful tune until the last strains echoed away.]

When he finished playing he noticed Xehanort and smiled at him.] Come for some fresh air as well?

As fresh as we can get, really. It feels nice enough, after that time.
