Dorms - Room 1-02:

[The sleep paralysis wasn't an odd thing - usually Protoman couldn't move for a while after a cold boot started. Systems starting up, diagnostics to make sure everything's in working order, recalibration of things to normal settings. He didn't even notice the sleep paralysis, to be honest. He was weirded out by the bootup, however. Wasn't he fighting his father's new pet project...?

There's a sound of something moving, and Protoman's sitting up sluggishly. His right arm erupts in a rearrangement of metal parts, tearing the fabric of the provided suit up as it reforms into a firearm, pointing at the source of the noise.]

[Once he's fully awake and dressed (sans the gun arm, though his shield is on his back), Protoman will explore each floor of the tower in sequence.]

She's been taking her time checking out the tower - Fran just keeps getting sidetracked by all the fun things like parasite arms and troll things and what have you. And plus, to get to floor 4, you have to go through floor 2, and well - let's say floor 2 sidetracked her and leave it at that.

So here she is checking out the super interesting view the tower has to offer, when what is that a Sentinel? She doesn't remember making you, buddy!

"..Did Vengeance commission another ally from someone? So, would you be Sentinel the Fifth~?"

So this place really was some weird tower. Looks like that kid wasn't lying.

A woman's voice gets his attention away from a window, turning visor-covered eyes and a dimly glowing optic sensor toward her. There's a pause as he considers her question. "No."

She can already figure out what your subtitle would be, sir. It's Snippy Sentinel.

"Then perhaps the sixth? A new line entirely...?"

That dim red glow is intriguing. She can definitely tell this fellow isn't human, but doesn't seem far enough away from one to be something entirely artificial.. right?

Naw, he'd be Sentinel Angst-o-Bot.

"I am not a part of any 'Sentinel' line. I am Protoman." His tone is flat, a bit mechanical.

..oh, she's heard that odd mechanical tinge to a voice before! But, hum, really..? "..Are you a robot, then?"

It's certainly possible, though this fellow seems quite a bit different from the robots she'd seen. The painstaking method of recording personality to be programmed into a 'bot was only difficult because of the time investment, and _{internal ramble rant introspection. You're lucky she's not saying this all out loud as is her habit.}

She looks a little less interested in you now that she's confirmed your lack of humanity, but hey that's probably for the better considering it's Fran.

"Hum, so they're not just gathering generally living things here. Everything I find out makes this tower all the more interesting!"

Well, excuse him for not being sure what to think about not being considered alive. Or if he even wants to think of himself as alive in comparison to humans. Lots of angst here over humans and how much they suck.

That causes her to to take another glance at Protoman's collar color. No, orange, same as hers. That wording made her think he might be a local.

"Oh. That makes both of us new."

"I suppose it does." He gives her an odd look, though it's hidden by the helmet. "I assume that if you come from my world, that you're not from the area I am. Does the name Albert Wily ring any bells with you?"

If he says no to not knowing Naomitsu Fran is just going to assume his programming is inefficient.
