[Judas lies on his back in the garden, a bottle of wine at his side. He holds a photograph up, never looking away from it.  The hundredth floor only served to upset him, as much as he wished for a reminder of home. But the photo is exactly what he wanted. There are tears in his eyes as he stares at it, but for the first time in a long time he's truly smiling.]

Elsewhere around the tower

[Encouraged to do something for the rest of the tower by the happiness he's allowed himself, and possibly with some small help from the wine, after leaving the gardens Judas goes around the tower looking for anything he can do. There's tending to his crops, of course, but he would have done that anyway.

Finding very little to fix or clean, he starts approaching people on the lower floors.] 

Excuse me, is there anything you need - anything I can do for you?

[He doesn't really know what to say, so instead he sits up, offering the picture to her. From left to right there's Peter, Judas, and Andrew. They each have an arm around him, and it's clear Andrew is taking the picture from half an outstretched arm in the corner of the frame, and that the picture itself is off-centre. Judas looks almost angry, and definitely embarrassed, but the brothers are both beaming.]

[Zoe takes the photo and looks over it with a curious look. She tilts her head, and after a moment she smiles softly.]

... I'm guessing these two are Peter and Andrew?

Yes. Normally they're obnoxious, but...I think I felt this way in Hell too. It hasn't been very long, but seeing something like this is nostalgic, I guess.

[papillonmagique]

Yes, I suppose... [Her smile brightens slightly, and then she hands the photo back.] Heh, I am almost jealous.

[He takes it, holding it close to his chest.]

Why's that?

[papillonmagique]

You have friends like that. [For someone so prideful, she has little trouble admitting that. But she just shrugs and shifts so that she's sitting on the grass.] ... Either way, it is good that the tower actually gave you something nice this time.

Well...you're like that too.

[papillonmagique]

[Blink.] ... Like that?

[thirtybits]

You know...like Peter and Andrew. A loud and pushy friend.

[papillonmagique]

[Another blink, and then she bursts into laughter.] Well, I suppose I am like that!

... And now that I think about it, you are similar to my friend back home as well.

[thirtybits]

Oh? Is it the friend you mentioned before? I forget her name...

[And look who's not complaining about being called a friend and openly calling others friends!!!]

Yes, Clare! [It's amazing that he's not arguing or anything, which helps to make Zoe just grin even more. Though she still has to tease, of course.] She is gloomy, quiet and a pessimist. When she speaks, it is usually blunt and something negative, and she hardly sugar-coats things.

[Pause. And her voice takes on a serious note.] And I am eternally grateful to have her as my friend.

[He scratches his cheek a little, laughing nervously.]

I guess that does sound like me. Likewise, Andrew and Peter are always teasing me and trying to trick me into 'having self-esteem' or telling me to cheer up.

[papillonmagique]

[Zoe just keeps grinning, resting her chin on her hand.] Yes, that does sound like me. But you should listen to them, since it is nice to see you smiling.

[thirtybits]

It usually feels like lying.

[But not this time, since he's genuinely happy.]

[papillonmagique]

Lying? ... Yes, I suppose it would be. [She looks oddly thoughtful now.] ... Well, that makes me even more glad that I got to see you genuinely smile, then.

A camera? Hmm, I think so. What do you need a picture of, though?
