[ LIFT TO FLOOR 1 (CLOSED SEPHIROTH & DARRES) ]
OCTOBER 01, 2013
Before Ishtar actually went to find her friends in the kitchen, she went to search for a specific person. It was already tiring and rude that he didn't respond to her mail, but she wasn't really surprised that he didn't, They didn't end well when they passed each other during the event. The event caused a lot of things to happen, and Ishtar acted for the better good for the group. She also violated his personal space by injecting a damn needle into his body. She was probably fucked for that too. She didn't want to see how pissed he was with her, but she knew she had to face him eventually. She knew she was already in trouble.
She also knew that he might be throwing her against the wall, so she decided to grab Darres and see what they could do about together...maybe. She didn't even give him the details. She wanted to find Sephiroth and that's what she told Darres.
[ KITCHEN; FLOOR 1 ]
(a) OCTOBER 01, 2013
Ishtar pretty much found herself some ingredients with the help of some friends and eagerly waited for one of them to actually help her make the cake since she wanted to make it so badly. She wanted to at least do something nice for her husband. Calling him her husband was still a bit awkward on Ishtar's part, but needless to say, she was happy as anyone right now. From all the crap she went through, she was fairly eager to actually do something about Darres' birthday. She didn't want to forget it and just do nothing.
(b) OCTOBER 08, 2013 A FEW HOURS BEFORE THE PARTY
Finally, it was the big day and somehow the cake came together well after all that hard work. She just needed to see if she could find anything to decorate it a little with. She eager to make it seem like it was the best cake ever or at least the best she could make it in a condition like this. Ishtar was humming to herself as she was stirring the chocolate syrup in the pot. She had to go through some sort of hell to get this thing and on top of the cake she was making chocolates today.

OCTOBER 01, 2013
For this day, she decided to actually slip a few notes into a few mailboxes. There's a note attached with their names on it. She quietly slipped in the information into the designated mailboxes. People are free to catch her in the act, or interrogate her for why she's sneaking around so carefully.

OCTOBER 08, 2013
Cake check, food check, and chocolate check. Now she had to make sure people actually got the memo and not tell Darres. She sent Darres a brief message through his mailbox and on the network as she ventured down the hallways, happy and cheerful. She was quietly humming to herself as she had a few bundle of things in her arms, the cake and the chocolates. she could not admit how grateful to her friends for being able to help her out. Even the stranger she met days before were also very nice to her. They also were a huge help to her when she asked them to be.
She finally made it to the floor, with her arm full of cake and chocolate. On top of that, there was some sort of blanket draped over her arms as she carried quietly. She grinned happily as she searched for a good spot in the meadow to actually set up. She hoped that people would come and help her out somehow.

Floor 1
Either way, she knew he was pretty ticked off at her and was pretty much prepared for something. She wasn't sure what as long she at least survived it. She hoped so anyway.
"Sephiroth," she mused softly, giving him a brief wave as she approached him. She's not sure how he'd react, so keeping it rather calm would probably be a better idea. She wasn't even sure how their relationship ended up this way.
Floor 1
All the arguments, all those deadly glares across the room. The hallucinations, and his ultimate weakening in front of them both; Sephiroth was much too short of patience for either of them as a result.
She called his name just as he made it half way towards the elevator but still he kept walking. Only when having pressed the button to call the lift did he have to stop and wait, and glanced over his shoulder at her.
"You just can't leave alone, can you?" His voice was cool, too cool in contrast to the bitterness that already pulsed beneath his surface.
Floor 1
"I'm afraid not. I left you a letter and everything you know?" she mused softly. She was trying to keep things as calm as she could with him right now. Ishtar trailed on after quietly, keeping her distance. She could feel his mood from the minute he talked to her. He really was pissed.
Floor 1
He'd burned it a moment later and sprinkled the ashes on the floor of the mail room for the workers to clear up, and it had been satisfying as well - but Ishtar would probably expect for him to have done so and so he didn't even mention it.
Sephiroth turned his attention back towards the closed doors of the elevator, determined to brush her off with a cold shoulder before he'd be pushed to violence in such a public place - but by Ifrit's Hellfire how she irritated him!
Floor 1
She was trying her best to get along with him and she knew she walked over a plank she shouldn't have but what choice did she have? She was the kind of person that did things, knowing the consequences.
"So, are you okay? I know apologies don't mean much to you, but I am sorry."
She didn't approach him anymore than that.
Floor 1
And he let Ishtar know that. Sephiroth did nothing to conceal from his expression the very real possibility that this could turn lethal. The tightrope that she balanced on was being whittled away from underneath her.
"You're sorry..." Sephiroth took a breath and straightened up, used it to put a cap on that anger of his which was rising eagerly to the surface. That which had been so denied and controlled recently pounded behind his temples. But he had to control it, he was better than his emotions.
"That's not good enough."
Floor 1
"Yeah...I know it's not good enough," she looked down, "but if it makes you feel any better, I'm willing to make up for it."
Floor 1 - tag Darres so he's someone to throw her at?
He didn't ever pay much mind to losing his own life even before he came to the Tower. In fact, the chains of physicality are very limiting for him.
Ishtar's words did nothing but coil up his anger more. She's always for 'making up for it' and all this pointless over-caring of hers had already well passed his tolerance level before. Their whole relationship was starting to suffocate his own coveted sense of self-sufficiency and this was a line Ishtar didn't want to cross. She had gone too far this time, indeed.
Sephiroth moved and in the next second Ishtar was pulled roughly by her forearm and smacked up into the wall right next to the elevator shaft. Similar to how he had manhandled another certain annoyance of a resident months before he held her instantly by the throat and glared down into eyes.
"I don't want you following me around anymore, are we clear?"
Floor 1 - I'll tag this and wait for Darres then :D
It was unfortunate that she was the type of person that didn't stop for anything, even if it got her killed in the end. There's a brief surprised look from her when Sephiroth moved towards her and then the wind being knocked out of her when she was slammed into the wall next to the elevator shaft. She gave a surprise cough from having the wind knocked out of her. She stared at him, with a bit of pain reflecting from her eyes, but nothing more than that as he held her by the throat now.
"..." It took her a moment to actually regain her ground, and pick up what was being said. She was a bit dizzy from the sudden slam into the wall, but she shook her head, "Do you really...hate it that much, to be cared for?" she mused softly, with almost a whisper. She testing his patience, yes, but did he really hate that kind of contact? Did he really hate having people who cared about him? She couldn't fathom what kind of past he had that would have altered him this much but then again she didn't even know him at all, so it didn't really help.
Sob you guys
The dispute between her and Sephiroth didn't go unnoticed. Not by a long shot. However, he was use to not interfering in her business as he still had most of his habits from home after all. He did draw the line of staying in Ishtar's shadows when she was being physically assaulted. Like second nature, Darres' hand shot out to grab Sephiroth's arm. His grip firm, and there was strength behind it, tempting Sephiroth to cease his hold.
"Violence isn't necessary."
For once, in a long time, Darres held a stern expression from his default calm exterior. This alone would never make Darres hate Sephiroth, but he would never stand for letting this happen whether Ishtar warranted such behavior or not.

Just who does she think she is? Sephiroth's grip tightened on Ishtar's throat as she spoke, squeezing that last word out of her just as another hand shot out of somewhere behind him to grip around his arm. Powerful muscle flexed underneath Darres' grip, as green eyes lit up with further aggravation, and then narrowed once turned to the owner of the offending hand; Sephiroth did not like being touched uninvited and so this served as a warning.
He would give Darres a chance to step back and stay out of his business, without reacting right away. His face contorted into a similarly stern expression, to match Darres' own.
"You do not want to test me. Back off."
love you? XD
She reached up to grab his arm that was pinning her to the wall, trying to at least loosen the damn grip on her neck. She needed air and things were starting to spin really quickly. It was stupid question. Why did he have to get all angry about it? It was true right? She didn't understand him at all but she was trying to.
When Darres' arm came up to stop Sephiroth, Ishtar gave him a shocked look, "D-Darres."

"Let go."
It was a simple request, and he didn't even sound angry about it. His grip didn't tighten, nor did it loosen either. Unsure of whether that would earn a retaliation, he's just looking out for the princess.
no subject
"You should both-"
His voice was held back, controlled and almost too calm-sounding as a result. Sephiroth turned his head back to Ishtar and quickly he then moved again. He pulled his arm out of Darres' grip and proceeded to throw his 'princess' directly at man with the other hand, Sephiroth put enough of a surge of power behind it to knock them over with.
He was left stood there, glaring into Darres' face, clearly unimpressed and ignoring Ishtar completely.
"Keep her away from me."
no subject
She didn't seem any determined than she was earlier when he stared back at her. When he threw her right at Darres, Ishtar was again watching herself be tossed roughly toward her husband and the coughing fits ensued.
