Quest Accepted: Tower of Animus
Characters: Wrathion and YOU
Setting: Around the Tower and Room 2-20
Format: Brackets but I will match!
Summary: A baby black dragon is summoned into a horror tower...
Warnings: None
A. Room 2-20
[The denizens of this room will no doubt be woken up by the sounds of a reptilian creature in severe distress. There's a belch of flame that appears shortly after the sleep paralysis wears off completely and Wrathion floats out from the bed, somehow managing to look irritated despite his lack of human expression.
He only floats for a second before landing on the bed and giving a curious glance around the room. There was no way he was still in Pandaria anymore...so what exactly was going on?]
B. Cafeteria
[Now that he more fully understood the situation, Wrathion was ready to explore a bit. He had decided to heed the initial warning given to him and headed in the direction of the cafeteria, taking care to adopt his more human form as opposed to his natural form. It didn't quite erase the intimidating glowing red and slitted stare, but it was certainly easier than trying to talk to a dragon only slightly bigger than most human heads.
He's not shy about approaching people. In fact, he seems to make a point to make eye contact with anyone who might glance in his direction. A sharp toothed, but charming smile awaits those lucky individuals.]
Greetings, denizen. Perhaps you might take a moment to speak with me about this place.
C. Hallways
[Walking along innocently by yourself? Of course you are. That is, until you spot a black dragon whelpling perched somewhere in your line of sight. Is it a monster? But then since when did monsters wear indigo collars? Maybe you should try talking to him, since he's staring at you with such big red glowing eyes.]
D. FREE SPACE
[Specify a location and I will follow your lead!]

It's not a happy story. Some of it visibly annoys the Aggregate, but he won't interrupt until a natural pause arises.
Lorelei has a thing against imprisonment and slavery, even for 'their own good'.]
Not an enviable fate. On one hand they secured your freedom from madness, but intended to take away your freedom otherwise. You said you are the last. The mad ones were killed by the red dragons?
[Surely mortals aren't involved.]
no subject
[He gives Lorelei a sort of appraising look with one raised eyebrow. It seems he doesn't plan on offering any further explanation.]
no subject
He can obliterate towns with a thought. Why couldn't a dragon kill other ones easily?]
Thank you for being willing to tell me all of that. What will you do now, imprisoned here instead of there? It seems going home isn't an option.
no subject
[He takes a seat across from Lorelei and steeples his claws.]
I am not so certain in the truth of what's been shown to us. And even in the event that what we've been told is true that it cannot be reversed.

[Lorelei has peculiar views. But it doesn't mean he was going to stay complacent. He had a world to return to.]
My own world will die, whether or not it is now dead, in a mere handful of years. So what they tell me is ... largely not really relevant. That doesn't mean I'm going to stay here. We should all be working on getting out.
[He pokes his soup a little, still having not eaten any of it.]
Are you a worldbuilder, then? It would fit a creature of the earth, I guess.
no subject
An Earthwarder would be a better term, I think. I prefer to protect what I have rather than build something entirely new.
[Inwardly, he scoffs at the use of the term "Earthwarder". That title belonged to a mortal now, but that wouldn't stop him from using it until Thrall decided to show up. It was a very apt title for a black dragon that actually did their job.]
no subject
Oh yes. I can't imagine anyone would rather be here than their homes.
[Much belatedly, he sets to his soup. It is cold. The flavor, by his expression, is not exactly amazing.]
What do you have to protect here?
[No mockery, just curiosity. Wait wasn't Wrathion supposed to be asking the questions? Lorelei's curiosity is definitely getting the better of him.]
no subject
[It seems Wrathion will answer most, but not all questions. He has a plan, but it will take time.]
no subject
[Lorelei wasn't good at patience. But now he had no choice! It's a little frustrating. There's a moment's pause, then he gestures with his spoon.]
Oh, a bit of advice. They'll feed you oatmeal as your first meal. Don't put anything in it at all, and it's pretty tolerable if it's really hot when it gets eaten. Anyone who doesn't, or tries to put things in it, gets really sick. I imagine dragons have to eat, right?
no subject
Well certainly, but certainly not on cuisine made for horses.
no subject
Maybe after you've had the oatmeal you can eat the horse it was meant for?
[Dragons were carnivores, right?]
