candy, candy, candy candy candy...
Characters: Terra-Xehanort, Aqua (OU), Terra (AU), and anyone else who wants to poke him
Setting: Various
Format: Action, prose is okay if you'd rather as I'll switch
Summary: A dude is looking for candy. A couple times people spend time with him. Maybe you do too.
Warnings: None.
Notes: Two prompts are closed to certain people, the other one is open to everyone.
[FLOOR 48 - Aqua
So far it had been all right, though the novelty was wearing off. The past few floors he'd been a bit careless... but it had been worth it so far. Now it was time to consider the next floor... this had been a good way to catalogue mass floors at once, after all. He gets on the elevator, and selects the number of the floor at random. 48 seems like a nice arbitrary number, considering his location... and thus he stands to wait for the elevator to finish its trip.]
[DAY 25 - Terra
Trying to ignore the thoughts of candy and searching, trying to avoid other people who might be looking... he was tired of it all. He'd been looking for five days already, and it was getting increasingly less effective. Now, he instead listlessly wanders the hallways to distract himself, not venturing onto floors, trying to avoid anything to do with the event.]
[Maybe you're looking for candy too! He's definitely looking for candy, as well as interesting places to look for it. Perhaps you bump into him on the way between floors... he'd like a diversion or to stop and chat with an acquaintance. He certainly has his hands full, if nothing else!]

Between Forgotten Visio-- between floors!
Which means he's actually pretty fatigued, but the drawbacks of not sleeping where you're supposed to will have to be found out the hard way. He's got maybe another day before he shuts down completely, so there's still time to roam.
And be quietly really, really confused about people looking around in places as if something really important is hiding on them! So he'd looked too, and found a couple of neat rocks (which are now in his pockets) and little else.
But it's getting really confusing. And after a while he just picks someone at random and begins following them, to see what they might be looking for.
Sheer coincidence means that Xehanort is selected for this. There has to be SOMETHING they're after.. but what?]
no subject
He's aware of his new stalker, and after a moment he turns a corner then pauses, waiting to see if his follower will come after him and thus smack into him directly.]
no subject
It's baffling.
As his current not-quite-stalking-victim rounds a corner, Lorelei doesn't follow immediately. It isn't anything like a deliberate plan, more simply seeing to one of those spots where he'd noted someone looking. But that does him precisely zip for good at all, and he trundles on, hoping to catch up before Xehanort gets too far out of sight.
And Xehanort hasn't actually gone that far at all! And by the sudden undignified noise and backpedaling, he really didn't expect the silver-haired fellow to be right there!]
no subject
Nevertheless, his hands went akimbo and he gave a bit of a scowl.]
Is there something I can help you with?
no subject
And as Xehanort scowls, his expression immediately goes apologetic and a little anxious, hands rising in placation. There's not a trace of hostility or malice or even threat.]
I'm sorry!
[He didn't ...actually say that. Aloud. There's no use of a mouth to speak anyway, but he's still perfectly hearable.]
I just ... uh, I wanted. Oh wow, this is really embarrassing, uhm, I saw you wandering around looking for things and I have no idea what you were looking for because I never saw anything at all and I really looked too so I thought maybe I'd just follow you a while and see if maybe you'd find something so I knew what you were after and ...
[No pause. When you don't have to breathe in order to speak you can ramble very quickly for a very long amount of time. Thankfully Lorelei seems to realize he's doing it and stops suddenly, eyes wide.]
I don't mean any harm, I swear.
no subject
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a couple of the candies he's found.]
It's candy. We're looking for candy. Here.
no subject
...
... except there isn't anything there.
Very slowly, Lorelei reaches up and scratches the back of his own head, brow furrowing in obvious puzzlement.]
I don't mean to be rude, but um, you don't have anything.
[This is seriously awkward. Is this a practical joke?]
no subject
What do you mean? It's right here.
[He pokes one of the gummy fishes with a finger.]
no subject
As far as he can tell he's just poking Xehanort's hand. The tone his not-speaking takes becomes even more bewildered, and a touch wounded.]
Are you sure? I don't think there's really anything there. I mean.. look.
[Pokepokepoke. The fish refuse to acknowledge his existence.]
no subject
I don't know what you mean. It's right here. Here, open your mouth...
no subject
It seems to make him a little unhappy. He brightens back up again shortly though.]
They might be hallucination candies! But okay!
[At least he's obedient. No candy will find its way into his mouth, but he's perfectly willing to try! What if it was a taste but not touch or sight candy??]
no subject
What are you doing? Hold still!
no subject
[It's a conspiracy. Because Lorelei really wants to try some of this mystery candy.
Some things are not meant to be. It results in a fierce scowl as he crosses his arms over his chest.]
Is this some sort of humans only thing? That's not very fair if it is! ..Or if it's just a trick, that wouldn't be very nice either.
[... Naw, people can't be that mean.]

2...2nd? And floor 68
Still, it was rather uncommon to see other people on this floor, and even less common to see them doing something on it, rather than just passing through. Dani floats up behind Terranort, not bothering to be quiet but flying around not being the most loud of activities in the first place. She peered over his shoulder, curiously]
What'cha doing?
oh boy let the best duo ever meet
Then he looks up and his eyes go big because HOW]
... how are you... but the wind... magic?
no subject
Uh... not exactly. I'm a ghost. I'm just flying.
[Half-ghost, technically but details. Still, she notices that slip, just a bit. She might have fun doing goofy, pranksterish things at times, but this was a little different. This was actually dangerous.]
You okay there?
no subject
So I take it that because you're talking to me instead of stealing my life energy or otherwise trying to harm me that you're not the sort of ghost that they would cultivate in this place.
When did you die? How did you come back?
no subject
[She pulls at the neckline of her outfit a bit to make a little more obvious the collar she's wearing, same as him.
The questions meanwhile, are a bit harder to answer. She debates for a few moments whether it's worth it to come up with a story, then decides against it. She's talking to a guy with silver hair. She's seen all sorts of strange things here already.]
And... I'm only half-ghost, technically. I could demonstrate but I'd rather not do that up here, if you know what I mean.
no subject
[He's not really sure he wants to think about it.]
So that gives you powers of being ethereal and flight, I see. It's already an apt demonstration. [He smiles a little bit from where he's clinging to the rock face.] It must come in handy in a place like this. There's all sorts of secrets waiting to be discovered. Can you go through walls too, or are they too tangible for that?
no subject
Oh- Hello, Xehanort. What are you up to?
no subject
I'm looking for candy, I suppose. I got a letter demanding it, so I thought I'd play along for a little bit. It's getting rather dull, though. I thought maybe I'd make it more interesting. Where are you headed?
no subject
[she unclasps her hands and opens her palm to him, revealing one brightly wrapped sweet with a smile.]
I found this while doing my usual poking around. You can have it; I didn't get a letter.
no subject
[He reaches out to take the sweet carefully. There's rules about these things, he's been learning. Very annoying rules. He'd rather not lose a sweet because of something silly.]
I was thinking about examining floor 48. I haven't been there yet as it is... so might as well kill two birds with one stone. Is that all right?
no subject
[it isn't a question. she looks solemn, but nods.]
It's fine. That floor will be easier to search with two, since there are so many headstones.
[she says it so calmly, but her expression is darker than before.]
