Summary: Zett gathers and eats mushrooms for science. He's also willing to share.
Warnings: Hallucinogenic drugs!

[Floor 61]
["Many mushrooms grow on this floor. It is unknown if they are edible or not."

That was what the guide to the tower said, and Zett was just bored enough to decide to make a helpful contribution. Perhaps they would kill him unpleasantly, but his death would help people in the future to not die. Perhaps they would be incredibly tasty and a good source of food during Jason months. It was hard to tell, with the tower.

Careful to avoid all the pits on this floor, Zett gathers up as many mushrooms as he can. Just one wouldn't be enough to know for sure how dangerous these mushrooms were - if the first one didn't kill him, he'd have to test another.

Zett isn't actually going to eat on this floor (too dangerous with the pits around), so other residents will just encounter him picking mushrooms and gathering them in a box.]

[Dormitory Floors]
[When Zett gets back to the dorm floors, it's finally time to test the mushrooms for deadliness. Setting the box on the ground, Zett picks up one mushroom and munches on it.

It's delicious. Zett finishes it quickly and waits for any side effects.

Gradually he notices that his vision is going a little... weird. Colors are changing. The doors are starting to morph into shapes that clearly wouldn't fit a person through them, unless they were a very strangely formed person. He feels kind of... melty.

Huh.

Zett picks up his box of mushrooms and walks around the dormitories, occasionally stumbling as the ground doesn't feel right. When he spots other people, he'll smile and wave and tell them something like,] Did you know you're leaving a trail of light behind you? [After a moment, he'll add.] That could be the mushrooms, though.

I was literally born for fighting, so it will not be that much of a bad idea! [Says the angel who is completely high.]

What? [A huff, and she crosses her arms with a pout. It's 'spoiled brat' time.] Why do I have to stay here? I am not that high.

[papillonmagique]

Well, you will not. You did not force me to eat the mushroom, right?

[belzebul]

No, but... but... If you don't stay in the dorms I'll kiss you. You don't want that, do you?

[HIGH LOGIC.]

And Zoe chokes for a moment, before going right back to brat mode.]

Wha- That... I bet you would not! Even you are not high enough to do something like that!

So I am gonna go fight and it will be fine, I will prove it to you!

[belzebul]

I'm completely serious. I'll kiss you on the lips even.

[Nope, she 'hmphs' and still turns around to leave.]

You are bluffing! Look, I will even come back later with a head of one of the monsters to prove that I fought.

[belzebul]

[He circles around her and totally goes for it. On the lips even.]

[Zoe completely freezes for a moment. And then quickly stumbles back, her hands covering her mouth as her face goes completely red.]

W-w-w-w-wha...?!

[belzebul]

I warned you that there would be serious consequences.

[High logic. Don't question it. He still feels weird and when he's in his normal state of mind he'll wonder why he did this.]

[papillonmagique]

I-I-I thought you were joking! [Huff and she stamps a boot with another pout. She'll panic about losing her first kiss like that in a second.]

That was not fair! And you can not keep me here anyway!

[belzebul]

That's because you're silly and don't believe me.

[papillonmagique]

T-t-that was my first kiss, you idiot! And I thought you were kidding, since there were other things you could have done!

[belzebul]

[She stares at him for a moment, then huffs again and goes over to punch him in the arm instead.] ... Now will you let me go fight?

[belzebul]

Ow. [He rubs his arm with a couple other arms.]

I still don't want to. I'll get sad if you get hurt.

[papillonmagique]

... You are the only demon I know that would get sad if an angel got hurt. [But she sighs heavily and looks away with a frown.]
