[Well, ladies and gentlemen, shit dun hit the fan.]

[The tower has been condensed to one room with pretty much nothing in it. This post? Do whatever in it. General reactions. Go. ...As for Ienzo, he's just kind of sitting in the corner, head in his hands.]

[Naminé's more than willing to continue to help as long as she can, and since she's mostly stationary and not using quite so many spells, she doesn't burn energy as quickly as Aqua. It's probably for the best, since the blonde was already quite tired when they began. Her legs, at least, are grateful for the rest. The girl's careful to keep a close eye on Aqua just in case a Reflect is necessary. It's amazing to get to see her fight in person, even if Naminé wishes the circumstances were less dire. It's because she's watching that she notices pretty quickly how tired Aqua is getting. Naminé immediately wishes she could be more useful, that she'd asked to learn more spells before all of this happened, but it's too late to change that.]

Aqua...! Do you need to rest? [She can probably answer her own question, really.]

[By the time Naminé inquires as to her status, Aqua is breathing a little heavier. She's actually taken a few hits as well, though from the way she's fighting, the damage isn't obvious.

She'd like to rest, but she really can't. There is the next best thing, though. She jumps back so that she's far enough from the monsters that her magic can flow again, putting her rather close to the blonde girl. She immediately casts a powerful Thundaga around them, to prevent the monsters from getting close enough to attack her companion.]

Naminé, do you think you can hold a Reflect spell for a few seconds?

[It's strange to be in the eye of a storm like that, especially since she was hit by much weaker Thunder strike earlier today, and it reminded her entirely too much of a certain someone. It's not a sensation she'll soon forget, and even when the magic isn't focused on her, the feeling of it nearby unsettles her, but she doesn't let it show. She knows she won't be hurt by it. She gives Aqua her attention when she's addressed.]

[Her eyes widen a little at the request, and she hesitates, but eventually nods.] I think-- no, I will. [Does she really have a choice?]

Not for too long. Don't worry. [Naminé can't see her smile from this angle, but it's very obviously in her voice.] I know you can do it.

[Besides Naminé's incredible magical aptitude, Aqua has seen that small spark of resolve when it comes to people she cares about. She knows that Naminé won't fail her.]

[It's strange, for someone to have faith in her. She grows both more resolved and more uncertain, but only one can win, and this time, it's her determination. It's true-- if it's within her capabilities, Naminé will not fail Aqua. Her faith is well placed; now, if only Naminé could believe that.]

... I won't let you down. [It comes out a little breathy, a little rushed.] Just tell me when.
