[Well, ladies and gentlemen, shit dun hit the fan.]

[The tower has been condensed to one room with pretty much nothing in it. This post? Do whatever in it. General reactions. Go. ...As for Ienzo, he's just kind of sitting in the corner, head in his hands.]

[At first, Dark is frankly alarmed at the bright flashes of what he assumes are magic. But when the attacks are aimed at his enemies, he stops worrying. With only one hand constraining him now he manages to finally escape the creature's grip. He's generally not one to risk his neck for others, but it's not like some other bit of the tower is any safer than this one. Besides, that one last dead hand will pay for even thinking it could try to attack him.

He drops to the floor, rolling in front of Sollux and jumping up with a shout, his sword swinging up to slash at the monstrosity repeatedly. It stops advancing and turns, retreating. With it's head out of reach, Dark Link can no longer harm it, so he turns to shout at his savior.]

Kill it! Kill it before it gets back underground!

I'm working on it! [Sollux shouts, and rises up into the air, eyes flashing red and blue as he flies upwards to get a good shot. With another blast, the last monster collapses, and he drops to the ground]

You okay?

[Well that's fancy. But hey, now that he's getting a better look at you, he can see that you're not human. You even have horns. You're not exactly a lizalfo, but surely you won't be some kind of annoyingly heroic person thing.

He nods, adjusting his grip on his sword slightly.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks.

[He's normally not big on teamwork, but for now pairing up with a ranged attacker seems best for all involved. Dark has no special powers to be taken away, not even his sword is magical.]

I'll keep them at a distance, you just keep doing that magic eye thing.

[He scans the chaos around them, finding the nearest monster and lunging towards it.]

[And now that Sollux is getting a better look at you, Dark, he realizes that you aren't the pointed-eared hornless alien that he met before, but a different pointed-eared hornless alien. He isn't about to worry about that, though, really.]

Yeah, you've got it. Don't get in my way.

[He floats up again, staying near Dark so he can blast anything that tries to sneak up on him]

[It's an easy mistake to make.

Dark Link nods again, an almost eager smile settling onto his face. Now that he's not being held helplessly, he's going to start enjoying this fight. Violence has always appealed to him. Being in a situation where he gets to indiscriminately carve through hostile beings is a bit of a dream come true.]

[Huh. That violence is only notable because it's rare to see an alien who actually takes that much joy in violence, like a troll can. Sollux laughs at the sight of Dark Link's eager grin, rolling his bi-coloured eyes.]
