[The tower has been condensed to one room with pretty much nothing in it. This post? Do whatever in it. General reactions. Go. ...As for Ienzo, he's just kind of sitting in the corner, head in his hands.]

[Imperial? Does that mean it belongs to the Condesce? Not that all of the monsters here are all necessarily following their usual leaders, right now. When he starts to look around, she does, too, almost relaxing until she sees what looks like a shadow moving along the floor toward them.] --!

[Judging by the way she backs away from it quickly, it's not anything good.] It's-- [apparently decided it's close enough, because right about then the Neoshadow reverts to its more solid form. It's much, much bulkier and taller than the Neoshadows she's used to, and considerably more terrifying in other ways thanks to the tower's influence. She's pretty sure necks aren't supposed to bend that way.]

I can't remember if you need a keyblade for these things...

Oh. Shit. [Signless slashes at the shadow, trying to keep it away from Namine. He doesn't even know if a weapon like his can hurt something made out of pure shadow...]

It's possible to kill them without it, but it's harder and doesn't free the heart.

[Correct statement, yes. Fortunately, his weapon does seem to have some effect, although probably considerably less than it would on a normal enemy. She's grateful for the cover, since it's the only thing that allows her to keep enough distance to hang on to her magic, and by now she's ready for another Stop, so she wastes no time in casting it and freezing the Neoshadow. Okay, okay, they can handle this. It's just one, right? Even if it is the single most terrifying one she's ever seen.]

It's called a Neoshadow. Be careful-- it's not like the other monsters...! [Not having vitals to damage, and all.]

[He hisses and keeps slashing at the big shadow monster as it freezes. This time he's sure Namine had been the one to do it, and he nods his appreciation at her even as he wails away at it with both sickles]

[Naminé nods back, and her eyes are immediately on the Heartless again. She doesn't even realize she's holding her breath, but she is, at least until the spell wears off of the monster. It starts to move just slightly, as if it might yet live-- but an instant later, it dissolves into darkness and a glowing heart flows away toward the ceiling. It'll be trapped in a Heartless again soon enough, since there was no Keyblade to purify it, but for now, it disappears from sight.]

[He got it, indeed. Naminé finally exhales.]
