[Xion turns to see Sheba. Perhaps uncharacteristically, her expression doesn't lighten any at the sight of one of her best friends in the Tower. Then again, considering who they're about to face... Sheba would know better than most people why Xion might have a lot of feelings about that.]

As much as we can trust anything.

[Her voice matter-of-fact, her hands grip her real sword more tightly. She was going to do this. No matter what. She had to.

It would help if she could at least see this so-called Aria. If her collar was chipped, like all the other units that were following them recently had been chipped, then maybe they could trust this a bit more. As it was... she was trusting this, because they didn't have much to lose did they?]

[Sheba's expression doesn't lighten any, either, though she does nod to Xion. At this point, the only three people who would have been able to lighten her expression aren't in the Tower. Two of them, Felix and Jenna, had disappeared, and Piers had never arrived to begin with.]

So, very little, but we're going to do it anyway. That's pretty normal, for us.

[Which is also somewhat calming in and of itself.]

[The snorting noise that Xion makes at that might be considered a laugh. Might. Still, it's something other than her grim demeanor, so it's an improvement]

Yep. Maybe things will go even better, this time.

[Hey, the reckless spontaneity of what they'd done in the infiltration in July had worked, somehow. And now this time, they had a chance to prepare. And Jason was meeting them on their territory, so to speak.]

[She'd rather see more people come out unscathed. The chances of that are low, though, and she's aware of that, so she'll settle for her friends being safe.]

We'll never know until we try. What's the worst he can do, kill us? We've all been living on borrowed time. [Not to mention, they have a time limit. It's Weyard all over again.]

I don't think I'd rather live through whatever is the worst he can do, personally.

[Sorry Sheba, but after going through hardcore Jason torture, she's not keen to let him exercise his imagination on how to make their lives awful any more than he already has. Realizing that could be taken the wrong way though, she adds]
