5th Call - It still lies at the bottom, unused

Characters: Members of Pandora and those discussed in the plotting plurk

Format: Starting as prose, then going with the flow
Summary: Pandora has to get organized and make a move while they have the chance, so Lucifel picked every member up for doing so.

It was something that had bugged Lucifel for a few months. A lot things have happened during this time but it has gotten silent around Pandora. He knew the members still wanted to change something, that there was still a meaning in what they did. But he had to face it... they were unorganized. Completely and totally unorganized.

But with Jason out of the way for a short amount of time it was the chance to gather them all up for a meeting, without asking though as he simply took them along by teleporting them. And perhaps also try to find out why it looked like they have retired. With a plan in mind the archangel picked up each and every member of Pandora, as well those who have helped them in the past at the 81st floor.

When he had gathered everyone on the floor he stood at one of the windows, facing those in front of him and his back turned at the windows.

"Well everyone, it's been some time, hasn't it? Hopefully none of you minds that I organized this meeting all by myself."

We need to focus on other things, here. Like helping Aria in whatever way we can.

Right... That's what you called us here for, isn't it, Lucifel?

*...Not exactly, Enoch.*

[But first he'd like to see where this is going. Not so much because he's interested in it but for slightly different reasons.]

Agreed. If Aria asks for our assistance in any way, we should give it, and try to encourage others to do the same. Not everyone believes she is on our side

However, given how little we know of her plan, currently, I propose a few other thoughts to take into consideration:

One of Aria's other duties is to protect Zo. If she is up here, it may mean he is unattended. While I am certain he would be able to handle himself if confronted with vengeance-seekers, I believe we all can agree keeping him out of the crossfire entirely would be preferable.

Additionally, there is still the matter of the information that had previously been locked down before Dax's research was decoded. To my knowledge, no one was fortunate enough to stumble upon it during the last assault on the administrative levels, which may mean it is still out there, waiting to be found. If it is from the researchers who previously inhabited this Tower, it may be the key to making sense of those visions we had last month, or perhaps even the nature of the 'virus' that is destroying the worlds.

For now, it may be out of the question. It would stand to reason that if Jason is unable to get up here, we will not be able to get down there. But if and when he breaks the seal Aria has placed on the lower levels, it may be our chance to explore them with one less threat to be concerned with.

As much as I dislike leaving the mob here to their fate, I doubt there is much we can do to deter them if they wish to go after Jason so vehemently.

If we can somehow ensure the safety of those who do not wish to be involved in either, I shall accompany you on this endeavor. I have been wishing for some time now to find out more about where this psychoradiation is coming from as well as see if we can get the more technically-minded of us down to the power cores.

I can assist with that. ... And while I do have some questions for Zo, I don't think getting him involved now is ideal. There's also the question of Riki, and exactly where he stands in all of this.

[Naoya pinches the bridge of his nose briefly, before speaking again.]

We don't know a lot of things, but we never have. What are our plans right now, aside from a vague sense of 'assisting Aria'?

[He's still not super clear on her or her motivations, but she seems trustworthy enough.]

Letting them go at it would be at least enough of a distraction to keep attention off us if we decided to descend.

[If there's going to be destruction done anyway, they might as well make use of it.]

I doubt they're going to do much in the long run, but we might as well use what we have.

[The blonde man finally has gathered enough nerve to hop into this conversation, after giving it a good think, first. Still very hesitant about it, but here he is.]

B-But e-even if we d-don't ask h-him a l-lot of questions or g-get him i-i-involved--uh--Z-Zo, I m-mean--we sh--should...s-s-still m-make sure he's o-okay, r-right? W-Without the r-r-retrieval u-units...a-and after the c-c-carnival...

[Zo, Riki, Dax, Jason, Aria...Ruana. While everyone is taking, Naoya is thinking to himself quietly besides them, hands in his pockets. Is this the time where he should...?

When he speaks, it's a rather strange question to be asking in the middle planning.]

Right now it should be safe for us to talk freely without the danger of others hearing, right?

[Judas stands around a little awkwardly for most of the conversation. So he was part of whatever this was? Unfortunately that memory was long gone for the time being, but evidently it was true. It did mean he was pretty lost, though.

But the idea of keeping the little boy safe-]

Ah, that's right, someone should be looking after him.

[He needs to do something. Protecting Zo is a good start, but he can't help but feel he should be on the front lines. Emma would be proud of him if he was protecting as many people as possible, right?]

Any volunteers? We should probably take turns watching over him.

I'd like to go. I don't think I'm any use in a fight, but...

...I-If we can f-find a w-way d-down there...I c-can go, too.

[Because the last time he volunteered to go to the admin levels, that turned out so well.]

We can ask Aria for a way down if she thinks our concerns are valid. She aided Arturia, Ruler, and myself back up when we made the last assault on the administrative levels.

[Their luck is absurd, really.]

At least one person with conventional combat experience should go down as well, in case something goes wrong and powers are disabled.

... Why, it's nice you are all planning what to do already despite the great lack of organization for, how long?

[Lucifel didn't know how long actually, but for once it felt like a long, long time when things should have happened like... yesterday.]

Not that it's much of a problem right now, because someone decided to gather everyone at one spot.

It might be just me but is this some kind of joke?

[Neal stares at him for a long moment.]

Better now than never, right?

We've got little time to fix this problem. If we organize now, we can fix this problem.

*Enoch looks up at what Lucifel says. He'd been quiet as the discussion went on, listening to everyone's ideas but having nothing to contribute that had not already been said.*

...Then how should we organize, Lucifel?

*He's a leader of angels. He'd know something, right?*

[Taiki was sat next to Enoch, knees drawn up to his chest, watching the conversation silently. He didn't speak because he didn't have anything to say, but he was listening and thinking about what was being said. His eyes flickered fearfully to the man who seemed annoyed at everyone, and then back to Enoch.]

Since our group isn't that large yet we should differ between those with talent at combat and those specialized in non-combat, such as healing or administrative abilities for example. Also should you know anyone who would be of help, invite them to join us. Aside from that, anyone affiliated with other groups, and we have a few cases like that, should be marked as such. Allying with other groups will become more necessary in the future and so will be telling all people of the tower if something should happen that involves all of the Tower population.

Meetings like these should become a regular thing, every action, every little thing should be planned ahead instead of simply storming into action. Something like a contact chain should be established should the mailboxes become unusable for some reason. We only have that little time left and reckless acts will more than likely get us further away from our goal.

[And jumping into action like that is certainly not very helpful.]

Speaking of it...

[Lucifel looks at everyone before he continues to speak.]

... Well. There had been Dax. But he hasn't been such help, considering how he left us to fight on our own.

[With this he's trying to make the others realize something about "Pandora". Or rather what used to be called "Dax's army".]

Ah, administrative is me. And if I can add, I don't think the mailboxes should be used for these things at all. It's not exactly secure.

Maybe... um... sorry... [He shrinks further into Enoch's side] Maybe we can make our own delivery system...

We've gotten very sensitive things through the mail before, though...
