Setting: Various Locations and days in the tower. Feel free to choose your location day and I’ll play by it!
Format: Either (you pick I follow)
Summary: All three characters are out and about the Tower doing their own thing, so feel free to approach them as you see fit. It can be for talking, chatting up, harassing or even sparring. It’s an open log!

[ Tear was out an about doing her usual rounds. The places she usually ventures are: Cafeteria for food, or to make food, the meadows to pick flowers, the cemetery to place flowers on the graves of her friends that have disappeared, and the Gothic Cathedral so she could sing her heart out and sometimes feel comfortable in it. The cathedral reminded her of Daath’s Cathedral and she very much missed the small things of her world.

[ Ishtar was prancing around all over the tower, trying to find more meaningful things to do with her time while not being latched to her husband day and night. Ishtar could be seen around the Cafeteria, the meadows, or even the forestry areas of the tower. Occasionally she ventured here and there to the clinic. She was eager to help others heal and she would also like to test how well she had gotten with her magical abilities.

On top of that, she was hoping to meet some new people. ]

[ Kuwabara spent a lot of his time in the multimedia room, playing video games when he got a chance and other things when he did not have much to do. As of right now, he was skeptical about everything, being a bit out of the loop for the time being, he’s not sure what to do. Kuwabara could be see wandering the hallways throughout the day and in the multimedia room playing video games at night. If he wasn’t there, then the teenager was up and about trying to figure out what to do with his time here and who he could trust.

On top of that, the whole real powers thing got him. He had to think about it for a long time and he still hadn’t taken the substance yet.

[He's blowing on the latest spoonful of hot tomato soup as Ishtar passes by, making no secret of the fact he's been watching her since she walked into the Cafeteria, collected some food and then turned to leave in his direction.]

It's been a while again, Ishtar.

[He swallows the spoonful of soup, lightly sighing at the warmth that spreads from it as it makes it's way down into his stomach, having to break eye contact with her in the meantime. Then stirs the soup some more, raising his gaze to her again. If she'd have left in the meantime, it's obvious he doesn't care.]

[ It was fine with Ishtar. She was used to the eyes that stared at her daily. If they weren't Sephiroth's, they were other people that she knew in this place. she learned to just accept it and move on. ]

Yes, it has been. A few months was it?

[ She blinked for a bit. He seemed to be enjoying his food somewhat. She's never seen him eat before, so it was the first time. Sephiroth was clouded in mystery most of the time. It was something she learned to adjust and get accustomed to even if it's a bit creepy. ]

A lot of things happened since a few months ago huh?

[He's trying not to think too much about what really happens to the water and nutrition bars they really were consuming, once they've eaten them. Perhaps at some point there might be a Glamour drop while he's on this floor and he'd be able to see.]

It's so very easy to lose track.

[It was only a comment, between another spoonful of soup. A grateful rumble of his gut tells him he could have done with eating again sooner, though, this is only a requirement for a short while and so Sephiroth isn't paying it too much thought.]

It has.

[That's all she's getting, unless she'd try for more information which he may or may not give to her.]

[ Ishtar shrugged at that comment, knowing full well what he meant by that. It was true. Time flew when they were in such a place. She never really argued against that. He was a mysterious, and dangerous man, but she also saw that he was rather intellectual and intelligent.

Maybe that as why she was always so prompted to speak to him from time to time. She knew that they were not friends in any form, but at least, he was talking to her. ]

I suppose when you have so much to run from and so much to avoid. It's not a big surprise anymore is it?

[ Ishtar didn't seem to hear the grumble of his stomach but she did noticed he ate. She had never really seen him eat or drink before so it might came as a bit of a surprise. ]

How are you faring lately?

[And not to mention she'd randomly been present at a handful of his deaths in this place as well. Best not to forget that fact as Sephiroth will not forget the occasions that he remembers, either. Though from what he knows of Ishtar, or at least the compassion she has shown him, he doubts she'd have been his murderer on any of those occasions.

He wonders, briefly if she had any idea what it's been like for him in these last few months. Sephiroth has always been withdrawn but recently, he seems to have been growing another layer to his shell.]

I'm not running! [He drops the spoon into the mostly-empty bowl, insulted by that comment and astoundingly quick tempered today as well it seems - but stops short of standing up. No surprises, really considering the effects of the new fluid.]

And how do you think I'm faring?

[ Way to get angry at a little comment Sephiroth. It wasn't like she meant it to be directed at him. She hadn't seen him around and she certainly felt rather insecure about certain things around him. His murders, and his death, she always wondered who the hell was doing it. She didn't really like the fact that people could easily kill other, even if Sephiroth was somewhat of a cold heartless ass at times, she didn't really hate him.

She hadn't known anything in the last few months. She had been out of commission for all of December and November flew by with her keeping her distance. ]

I didn't mean to direct it at you. I mean generally when anyone, well most me, when I'm running around so much time just flies you know? I said you in the means of the general population, not you in general, Sephiroth. I know you don't run.

[ Extremely short tempered. She shook her head. ]

Probably not well if you just randomly snapped at me more than usual.

[He's been a hot pot of anger sitting there simmering away and trust it to be Ishtar who turned the heat up enough for him to explode. Really he doesn't mean to erupt in her face, personally, like that, in fact it's less of a desired action at all. But that doesn't mean he's about to apologize for it.

There are a lot of reasons he's more irritable than usual, a lot of it having to do with how uncomfortably human he's had to live like for the last couple of weeks. It's more unbearable now, as his power is returning and he intermittently he can feel it; he grasps at the thinning thread of it one hand in front of the other only to then have it vanish from within his grasp. Sephiroth is out of patience with this collar-fluid swap already.

He huffs lowly to himself and makes a concerted effort to cool his temper, picking the spoon back up again. He must not, even more so now, allow his anger to rule him. If not vocalizing an apology, for a moment one crosses his expression as he nods to Ishtar's head-shake.]

It's been -difficult, as of late.

[ It was a good thing she avoided the issues for the most part. She hadn't been in contact with him enough times to see how ticked her was. She would like to think that it wasn't a pleasant thing to think about at all. She doesn't expect an apology from him. She was not interested in hearing him say sorry. If he did, she would think the world would be ending.

The whole collar fluid swap was a bit worrisome to her. She had yet to test it herself. For now, she was watching people affected by it and she was slowly concerned on what the turnout would be if it didn't work. She didn't want to be powerless and albeit she was not powerful at all, she would like to keep her abilities where they were.

Ishtar sighed, plopping herself a good distance away from him. ]

I can only imagine. Hopefully, it will get better for you soon, Sephiroth.

Oh it will.

[The speed of that response, and it's sharpness tells Ishtar all she needs to know about the extent to which he doesn't want to talk about it - at all of course. Like all the other things that Sephiroth has gone through in the Tower, better buried alone where no one can get to them and his own strength of will can keep them down. Except, notably, in outbursts like the one that had ripped out at her

As Ishtar put more distance between them, he takes the opportunity to make sure that there are still no more-than usual eyes on him before returning his attention more fully to his soup. If she wanted to try to crack this shell, the next move wouldn't be coming from him.]

You sound very confident about it so I guess you're already expecting it.

[ She replied, chewing on some bread she got earlier. The food here wasn't really food and she could care less what they tasted like. She ate now because it was necessary versus the want to eat it. She was not very happy with the fact that things always were fake to her now. The cold truth of knowing what reality looked like. She didn't even know anymore.

Ishtar was always trying to crack his shell but he was always a bit difficult in his own right. She had to be careful to avoid being thrown against the wall again. Stuff happened then was stuff she didn't want to remember. ]

[He blows on the next spoonful of soup, allowing the steam to warm his face some before sipping again soundlessly at it. Sephiroth is very conscious not to make any of the grotesque slurping noises that others might.

Eating is not usually a necessity for Sephiroth, even less is there a reason for him to attempt to enjoy it. He's eating now as it's cold, and he doesn't know when the next hunger pang will strike - a glitch in his settling powers or not.]

It's not a case of expecting - it's a case of making so.

[ How elegant of him. Ishtar stopped caring about such things a long time ago, even though she was supposed to be a dignified lady. She closes her eyes and looked up at him. She didn't know that he didn't eat often, but she hoped that he was at least in good health. ]

Ah, I see. You've always been a proactive person in regards to everything. I've admired that about you.

[Besides from the slightest darkening of the flesh beneath his eyes, indicative of a lack of sleep perhaps - it's hard to tell in Sephiroth what should be considered 'healthy'. After all, he's naturally paler than most.

He crashes the spoon into a now empty bowl and pushes it slightly away from him, raising green eyes once more over to Ishtar.]

Learned helplessness. Did you hear of that before?

[ Well, he may not look the best, but she couldn't really lecture him about health. It might make it worse on her if she did that, so she kept her distance in regards to that.

Ishtar just stared at him as the spoon dramatically crashed into the bowl. ]

Of course. You can't do anything without knowing what your own faults are right?

[It bugs him a lot more than it might bug anyone else, being in this less-than-he-should be circumstance. With regard to powers and appearance all the same, it irritates his pride.

Ishtar is smart enough not to dig in at him over that, and this might be why he hasn't actually just killed her yet to get her to stay away from him.]

Not exactly faults-[Distaste shows in his tone, the faults that Sephiroth has might been cracking wider but he couldn't accept that.] -more like realizing what is locked to you.

[ Ishtar was fairly used to him for the time being. He was just the type of person she would try to avoid getting murdered by. She made sure to keep that distance even though she still worried over him and such.

He couldn't really accept that obviously. Everything she did was obviously a damage to him somehow. She didn't even know why sometimes but she just deals with it for now. ]

...Hmmm... alright. Ah, I see. That makes sense too.

[It really could be quite a sad thing, old-hat as it is, that Sephiroth will probably never come to appreciate that caring quality in Ishtar. Whenever she expressed concern, he's done nothing but push her away. He doesn't need the concern, nor want any of the attention it came with.

It's all a question of trust, at it's core.]

Hm.

[Suits him not to talk further about real powers.

It's only a huff of a response, but he draws his gaze again away over the rest of the Cafeteria. Always on guard, always high-attention in case of anything.]
