as we move forward
Characters: Ishtar
xroyal_bratx, Kazuma Kuwabara
ainohenshin, Tear Grants
melodyoftheabyss & everyone (CATCH IT ALL LOG!)
Setting: Various Locations and days in the tower. Feel free to choose your location day and I’ll play by it!
Format: Either (you pick I follow)
Summary: All three characters are out and about the Tower doing their own thing, so feel free to approach them as you see fit. It can be for talking, chatting up, harassing or even sparring. It’s an open log!
Warning: No Warnings right now
[ Tear was out an about doing her usual rounds. The places she usually ventures are: Cafeteria for food, or to make food, the meadows to pick flowers, the cemetery to place flowers on the graves of her friends that have disappeared, and the Gothic Cathedral so she could sing her heart out and sometimes feel comfortable in it. The cathedral reminded her of Daath’s Cathedral and she very much missed the small things of her world.
---
[ Ishtar was prancing around all over the tower, trying to find more meaningful things to do with her time while not being latched to her husband day and night. Ishtar could be seen around the Cafeteria, the meadows, or even the forestry areas of the tower. Occasionally she ventured here and there to the clinic. She was eager to help others heal and she would also like to test how well she had gotten with her magical abilities.
On top of that, she was hoping to meet some new people. ]

[ Kuwabara spent a lot of his time in the multimedia room, playing video games when he got a chance and other things when he did not have much to do. As of right now, he was skeptical about everything, being a bit out of the loop for the time being, he’s not sure what to do. Kuwabara could be see wandering the hallways throughout the day and in the multimedia room playing video games at night. If he wasn’t there, then the teenager was up and about trying to figure out what to do with his time here and who he could trust.
On top of that, the whole real powers thing got him. He had to think about it for a long time and he still hadn’t taken the substance yet.

[ He replied nodding his head. ] Thanks.
[ Kuwabara laughed out loud for that gesture. ]/
Tons. Lemme show ya how the thing works so you know what ta do.

I've always wanted to learn to play video games!
[He'd only ever found old systems in the garbage that were too far gone to be repaired into any state of usability. And even then, what was a system without games? All the ones that worked in stores were way too expensive for Quark and his Grandpa to purchase. And Grandpa always said they were a waste of time. But still...they looked so fun.
Quark picks up the controller experimentally.]
Am I holding it right?

It ain't too late ta start. I've been at these things for a while so it ain't too hard to teach anyone.
[ Awh, Quark! Let Kuwabara change that for you. He will make it so the boy will be happy today! ]
Yeah hold it like this.
[ He shows where the analogues and such were positioned around his hand. ]
It should look like this.

Awesome! [He pauses, basking in the small triumph, but of course is raring to go almost immediately.] So what kind of game is it? How do we play?
no subject
It's a fighting game. Martial arts and stuff. Ya just fight with the other player.
[ He replied with a big grin. ]
We'll start and I'll let take it out first and then I'll fight ya back.
[ He replied explaining to him. ]

[Quark practically bounces as he waits of the game to start off. As he works his way through selecting a player and then being throw into the virtual combat arena...well, it's a bit slow going.
He has to take his time figuring out which buttons do what, and at first keeps managing to get his character turned around or punching up air. Never once does he seem to get frustrated, though, even as he presses buttons he didn't mean to. Eventually, he slowly starts to get the hang of what he's doing.
A good start for a kid his age who'd never played a video game in his life.]
This is so much fun!

Ya like it? There's lotsa stuff more fun than martial arts and stuff, but this is easier to play.

[Although Quark straightens in excitement, he doesn't look away from the game as he asks the question. Or, well, not at first. He turns away to look up with Kuwabara with bright eyes when another thought hits him.]
Can you show me all of them?
no subject
[ He replied excited as he countered the boy gently, instead of roughly. Kuwabara was glad to have cheered someone up. That boy seemed like he needed it too. ]
There's a ton here so I can but we'll be up all night. If ya don't mind we can.

[Especially saving the world. Being a hero.]
Do you think that there's a game about saving the world after it's already dead? Making everything okay again?
[But then Quark laughs, looking bashful.]
I want to! But I think maybe I shouldn't be up all night. Maybe we could do a couple, and then try others next time?
[Because there was definitely going to be a next time.]
