Well Romeo's didn't and he will share! [Open]

Characters: Romeo and everyone!
Setting: Floor fifteen
Format: Starting in prose but I'll match you!
Summary: Romeo got a puppet theatre for his reward, but it is not much good without puppets!
Warnings: Hopefully none! But will add if there are!

Romeo struggled down to the workshop carrying his puppet theatre. Well truthfuly it wasn't his, it was doctor Casella's and Bianca's too he guessed since she lived with the doctor. The fact that they had brought it to him proved to him that the world definitly hadn't ended, though he hoped that they hadn't hurt Doctor Casella or Bianca when they had taken it.

He felt a little guilty that it was here now and not with Bianca, but he had also noticed that a lot of people's rewards were not very nice things at all. Lots of people were upset, and the bad people were still hurting them.

So Romeo thought he could share his reward with everyone, if he found some of his friends they could put on a show to chear everyone else up. But the puppet theatre didn't have any scenery with it, nor did it have puppets. So he was on his way to go make some.

He leant the theatre against the wall and began to hunt for supplies.

No, silly! Those are completely different things! chimney brushes would hurt no matter what, toothbrushes only hurt sometimes if you have a cavity or if you're gonna lose a tooth or if you do it wrong!

[Romeo nodded] It still sounds strange though. You have weird things in your world Molly!

There only weird to you because you don't have them! And your chimney brush thing is weird to me cuz I don't have them!

Do you not have chimneys? Is it really cold? [Becuase it was really cold in the tower, which Romeo figured was because they didn't have any chimneys for fires. So it must be like that where Molly lived.]

We have chimneys! I just never knew that you cleaned them with brushes or that they had to be cleaned at all! No, silly, where I live is warm!

Oh, maybe people just cleaned then when you wern't there. [Since she was a princess and you didn't really clean chimneys in front of princesses.]

It's warm where I live in the summer too, but in the winter it can get cold and snow!

Uhh, I guess that could have happened!

It sometimes gets colder but it doesn't get that cold.

Yeah it probably did. [He tilts his head] So you not get snow?

Well... it doesn't snow where I'm from but it does in other parts of the state!

Is a state another word for world?

No, see. There are worlds and then some people own big parts of land and that's countries and lotsa contries are continents and small land on countries are states and smaller things on states is cities!

Oh [He frowns] I heard of countries and cities before. But not states or continents. What's your country called?

America! It's the best country! Sometimes!

Oh we have an America as well it's a long way away over the ocean. But you must be in a different world with countries that are called the same because you have dinosaurs and tooth brushes and dentists!

MAYBE I'M FROM THE FUTURE!

Really? Do you think so? Is everyone free where you come from? Do children go to school?

[stare] Why wouldn't everyone be free? That's like what America is for! And yeah I went to school for a bit!

[stares back, but in amazement] Well... because sometimes people aren't free, or they have to become not free, like if everyone's hungry so they have to sell one of their children or something.

[He is happy though, that America in the future is free] You must be from the future because Doctor Casella said that there wasn't any countries where everyone was free. But I am going to make it so, because that was Alfredo's dream.

What was school like? Was it fun? Did you get to read lots? What did you learn?

PEOPLE DON'T SELL CHILDREN!

School was boring, I didn't like it.

[He blinks but reminds himself that Molly is a princess, and she comes from a place that was free and that was a good thing!]

I am glad they don't in future America land but they do where I come from.

Why was school boring? Didn't you get to learn lots of stuff?

Romeo, were you sold to people?

It was boring because I had to learn a lot of stuff and I had to sit still all day and the kids didn't like me very much.

[He nods] Yeah, well... I sold myself to Luini and he sold me to mister Rossi. Alfredo's dream was to make a world where everyone was free and I said I would do it for him when he died, so I am glad people are free in future America land, because that means it's possible!

[He frowns] Why didn't they like you? You're great! Learning lots of stuff is fun though, I wish I could go to school!

[she just looks very sad at that and hugs him tightly] I'm sorry you weren't free, Romeo.

[she shrugs] They didn't like me because I was different I guess. It made going to school not that fun, and the teachers were boring. I liked learning some things but most of it was boring.

[He returns the hug just as tightly] I didn't mind too much, it meant my dad got to get better! So that was a good thing!

[He frowned] They sound like mean people, being different is what makes you great!

Teachers are meant to make things interesting, I was gonna try and go to school one day and then become a teacher so I could fulfil Alfredo's dream! [He looks sad that she didn't like school]

I'm sorry you found school boring, I always thought it was meant to be fun and good

You really wanna go to school, huh? I bet you could get one of the adults here to teach you! You can get Professor X! He's a professor, that's like, a really important teacher.
