Well Romeo's didn't and he will share! [Open]

Characters: Romeo and everyone!
Setting: Floor fifteen
Format: Starting in prose but I'll match you!
Summary: Romeo got a puppet theatre for his reward, but it is not much good without puppets!
Warnings: Hopefully none! But will add if there are!

Romeo struggled down to the workshop carrying his puppet theatre. Well truthfuly it wasn't his, it was doctor Casella's and Bianca's too he guessed since she lived with the doctor. The fact that they had brought it to him proved to him that the world definitly hadn't ended, though he hoped that they hadn't hurt Doctor Casella or Bianca when they had taken it.

He felt a little guilty that it was here now and not with Bianca, but he had also noticed that a lot of people's rewards were not very nice things at all. Lots of people were upset, and the bad people were still hurting them.

So Romeo thought he could share his reward with everyone, if he found some of his friends they could put on a show to chear everyone else up. But the puppet theatre didn't have any scenery with it, nor did it have puppets. So he was on his way to go make some.

He leant the theatre against the wall and began to hunt for supplies.

[Romeo pulled a face, because Eridan was being mean again but then his eyes light up at the boat, his annoyance forgotten.] That's so good Eridan! You're really really talented! [He held up his shark, it was sewed now but still needed eyes and teeth]

[Really? He looks doubtfully at his ship, which is a little wobbly and amateurish to his eyes, but brightens] Wwell, a course it's not perfect, but it's a wwork in progress. Wwhat's yours supposed to be?

I like it! [He holds out the whale, which is a whale and not a shark like previously mentioned, it probably looks more like a shark than a whale though, he's seen neither in real life so...]

It's a whale! I only ever saw a picture of one but I think this is right!

[Doubtful. Look.] Wwell now look here, you'vve got the fins all wwrong. [He takes it from him, and points out all the flaws, from the flukes being too big relative to body size to the way the tail is vertical instead of horizontally situated]

[He frowns but it's not an angry frown this time, because Romeo knows there is lots he doesn't know.] Have you see lots of whales then?

Lots and lots. Wwhere I livve there are wwhales all the time, as they movve through their migrations.

That sounds amazing! [His eyes were bright] I only seen some pictures in books and a skeleton of a little one. Dotor Casella says that the one in Moby Dick is as big as a train though! Is that right? Are they that big?

Yeah, sure. They can be as big as a train car. Maybe not a wwhole train...

That's still really big! [More grinning] I would love to see a whale! [He goes back to trying to fix the tail] Is this right?

Yeah, that's better. Wwhales aren't fuckin' fish, they're mammals, and you can't just make it look like a fish and expect people to knoww wwhat it is.

I know that! [He did as well, it was one of the things Doctor Casella had taught him.]

Well you can make the whale then! I'll make the people. [He gives the fishy looking whale to Eridan, slightly sulkily.]

Fine. [He takes the whale and looks at it doubtfully, then tosses it aside and pulls out the fabric again. He's just going to have to remake it from scratch with the proper proportions.]

[Romeo pulls another face, his whale wasn't that bad. He grabbed some more fabric to start making people.] Should there be trolls as well on the ship? You have ships in your world right?

[Oh, you mean he's going to star in this? Now he's getting more interested.] Sure, trolls havve got ships. I livve on a ship, in fact. I'm a pirate, of sorts. [He smirks, showing a lot of teeth] Or at least, I can pretend to be one, for the purposes a the theatre.

[Of course he gets to star in it! Romeo grinned at the idea that Eridan lived on a ship and his eyes widened as he told him he was a pirate.] You're really a pirate? And live on a real pirate ship! Like that one? [He pointed at the wooden ship]

I bet you have lots of adventures! [Yup Eridan you have just won the coolest person award in Romeo's mind]

Wwell, a course I do! [Never mind that he lives in a shipwrecked ship and the only other one he owns is a little skiff that's only a few steps up from a dinghy] I'm a scalliwwag that's for fuckin' sure, and I havve advventures evvery night.

[That's totally more ships than Romeo owns so...] I like adventures! The Black Brothers used to have lots of adventures, but on rooftops not on ships because we didn't have a ship and we wern't pirates we were chimney sweeps.

What kind of adventures did you have? Maybe after we do Moby Dick we can act out some of your adventures! [He's looking for purple and blue cloth, he is going to make a puppet Eridan!]

Pirate kinds of advventures, on the high seas, a course.

I bet they were reallt fun! [He sticks his tongue out as he cuts, horns are difficult to cut out!] Where you the captain? Did you have a crew?

[He's gone from exaggeration into full out lies at this point and he doesn't care]

Wwhat kind a pirate doesn't have a creww? And a course I am the captain. Wwe did smugglin' mostly, and dug for treasure on vvarious islands, a course. There wwas the usual swwashbuckling and such.

Did you find the treasure? Smugglings not very nice you know, only if you do it against bad people. Then it's fine. [Morals are the best when you are Romeo]

We can write a story about Captain Eridan and the lost treasure! [Why does Eridan have such complicated horns? Romeo finally finishes cutting out the slightly wonkey troll shape and finds some paint]

Sure, piles an piles a treasure. It's piled up all ovver my hivve because I don't havve enough space for it all. [What are those horns supposed to be, Romeo? He's going to have to do his own puppet, he's pretty sure.]

[Horns are difficult okay and his are all weird and zigzaggy, hes now painting them orange and yellow though.] That's a lot of treasure! Can you make some treasure boxes for the play! They can go on the ship. It can be the whale ship for Moby Dick and the pirate ship for the adventures of Captain Eridan alright?

Right, yeah. Treasure boxes are comin' up next. [He is still working on the whale, though, and stitching is not exactly his strong suit. Feferi was always the one to patch up clothing, and she's not very good, either. So the stitches are a bit clumsy, but at least the whale is shaped right]

[They are no worse than Romeo's, Bianca had taught him how to sew but he wasn't very good at it, as was demonstrated by the clumsy stitches as he sewed his Eridan's together.] I can make some gold. And we need some crew!
