normal life
Characters: Veronica and open!
Setting: Dorm floors, 90, 74, and 39
Format: Anything!
Summary: Veronica's going about her business.
Warnings: Usual tower things
Dorms
[How long had it been since they plugged themselves into that machine and ended up in that... place? What could it even be called anything other than that?
It didn't matter regardless, she had gotten out of it unscathed. Well, moderately unscathed. Her strength had been returning quite slowly. It bothered her to no end, but that's how it is sometimes.
She poked her head out through her room's door, eyeing the hallways beyond. Slowly, the bodyguard stepped out, dressed in different attire than usual, though minus the gas mask. She might as well do some patrolling, since Rick was more than likely feeling weak. And this'll be a good chance to try her new outfit.]
Floor 90
[This floor was one that Veronica frequented for a few reasons. She'd found this floor the first time she arrived and, despite the mermaid monsters, she found it to be quite pleasant.
So she sat on the sand, watching the water slowly go towards and away from the sand.
And then she disappears. As in, she blinks out of existence. She'll be back in a minute though.]
Floor 74
[This wasn't a floor that Veronica went to very often, but she was feeling adventurous despite her weakened state. Still dressed in her new suit, blades at the ready, she made her way through the shimmering caverns, her eyes adjusting to the dark quite easily.
Of course, there were creepers everywhere now. And one exploded behind her.
she can handle this of course.]
Floor 39
[Veronica's going to be at the gym for a while, using the workout equipment that hasn't already been destroyed to try and build some muscle. Even if she was feeling weaker, that didn't mean she should sit around and do nothing.]

[It's probably for the best that she doesn't.]

...W-what about a thank you kiss?
no subject
[That was her plan the whole time, wasnt it? She almost got away with it too....]
no subject
[She poked him lightly on the chest, giving him something resembling puppy eyes.]
D-don't you think you've b-been h-hiding it long enough?
no subject
No, I don't. Your setup and attempt at seduction has not fooled me.
no subject
B-but I honestly want to t-thank you.
I don't even k-know your name.
no subject
Good, that means I've been doing something right.
no subject
[In all honesty, she was a little offended.]
We've b-been w-working together for s-so long. You s-should trust me enough f-for this.
no subject
[To which he gives another shrug.]
There is more power in names than you can imagine. Giving it out is not that easy, and defeats the purpose of wearing a mask.
no subject
It's t-to d-dark for me to see anyways.
no subject
[He really is.]
no subject
[A total lie. She can see in the dark.]
You're r-really not revealing m-much if you take your mask off h-here.
no subject
Well, why are you so advent about me taking it off?
no subject
[Logic?]
Plus y-you should t-try taking it off o-once in a w-while. Y-you're skins probably r-really p-pale.
no subject
[Logic deflected, strung up and then buried.]
Also, I don't care for my appearance much.
no subject
I'd even m-make more bombs and s-stuff.
no subject
no subject
[That's kind of the whole point here.]

no subject
[A god made of flying spaghetti, but details.]
I t-think I c-could handle it.
no subject
[And that is a very long story.]
no subject
D-doesn't t-that make y-you feel better?
[That's about half sarcasm.]
no subject
no subject
[she poked at his chest again, a hand moving closely to his mask.]
But y-you're going t-to prove me wrong, a-aren't you.
no subject
I always prove everyone wrong in the end.
