Characters: Reno, Diarmuid, Lancer (Cu), Waver
Setting: Floor 32
Format: Either
Summary: A hunting they will go because the kitchen could use more meat. Just ignore the pink snow.
Warnings: Possible mentions of blood and of course slaughtering animals
They were set. The area around the staircase was filled with equipment and supplies for a day of hunting. There was food and drink in case they got hungry, makeshift weapons, bags, extra warm cloaks and even a really crude cart to haul things around on sat nearby. The cart was rough and wooden, and only had one set of wheels, but Reno found it sort of handy instead of hauling carcasses up the staircase.
Now all they had to do was go out into the floor and start tracking.

He doesn't say anything as he approaches Waver. Instead, he just gives his partner a supportive smile and lightly squeezes his shoulder, the ring on his finger catching the light for a moment as his hand drops away.
Hopefully, animals are the only things that will be killed today...]

[Waver raised an eyebrow as he asked that, uncrossing his arms and waving one hand around idly.]

I'll be fine. I've hunted here many times before, though, perhaps I should have brought Mac an Chuill along since we are all powerless.
[The hound had been sleeping when he left, exhausted from their earlier rounds, and so Diarmuid had opted to let him rest.]
I do not think all boars in the Tower have their sights set on me anyway.
[Just the monstrous ones on the circus floor and this isn't that floor, thankfully.]

Unfortunately, sometimes I think I tempt fate just by breathing...

[How else do you explain the luck of the Irish?]

[Diarmuid's gaze is distant for a while and then he gives Waver a smile.]
I should stop borrowing trouble, right? How are you feeling today? Has the exhaustion started to fade any?

[There is a revealed look on his face.]
It can stop completely any time and I will not miss it one bit.

[His gives Waver a knowing look.]
Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me.
