[The third day in the labyrinth. Veronica was almost beginning to grow accustomed to the twists and turns of the maze, and the almost darkness that permeated the area. Even after being thrown into this game by Ruana, she still found ways to adapt, as she always did.

This time was a little different though, and she knew it. The rules had changed; she had a reason to do this and it was a damn good one too. Her friends were in danger, she had to do this.

...Right? Whatever. The maze was still quite confusing, Veronica had just walked out of the newest dead end she had found, going back through the winding ways to find the right branch. Apart from the sword that never left her grip, she had come across some food and a water bottle to help keep her going. It'd help, but not for long. She had to keep moving.]
