[ But then there's that other talk. Team up.. survive, huh?
But none of this is about surviving at all for her. Sure, she has to survive for now, but it's just so she can win two bracelets and claim her prize. The thought of Kidou has been haunting her mind ever since the boy wasn't in the tower anymore, and to finally have a chance to get them back.. there's no way she can't fully go for that instead of for survival.
That thought is what finally fully makes her gaze land on Wriggle's bracelet though.
Prey. She's prey.
She'spreyshe'spreyshe'spreyshe'spreyshe'spreyshe'spreyshe'spreyshe'sprey.. ]
... You want to survive that badly though..? You're afraid someone might kill you?

[She knows death isn't permanent, and that if she dies here she'll just wake up in her bed again but every experience had been awful and in a way knowing what it was like made her all the more averse to it]
So what do you say? You said we'd meet up in the infirmary and wait it out next time something big happened in the tower. I mean, I know we can't get to the infirmary but we can still stick it out together.

You can't go back on a promise.
[ So she's already walking to stand over near the maze's wall, her sword idly hanging in her hand as she stares at the other pre-- girl. ]
So.. you want to sit here then and wait..? [ She's prey. ] Something like that..?

Yeah, for a while. We'll probably have to move when someone else finds us but I can run pretty fast with those spider legs, I think I could carry you too.
[She walks a little closer, not feeling any sense of danger]

At this point Urotsuki hardly recognizes Wriggle anymore as her friend. It doesn't matter. Whoever it is, that's not the point, it's prey.
It's what she needs to kill.
So the moment they're practically right next to each other and it looks like Urotsuki slowly opens her mouth to talk to the other girl, her grip on the sword suddenly tightens instead and in a fluid and smooth movement - like she's all too used to killing things, even if it might not exactly be with a sword - she swings it to pierce it straight through Wriggle and nearly into the wall behind her, like she's pinning up an insect for display. She doesn't make a sound, but there's something slowly changing about the look in her eyes by the time she swings. ]

She didn't even think about it, as the sword punctured her abdomen the limbs shot out from her back again. Before Wriggle could even consider her betrayal the forelegs swiped at her wildly in an attempt to push her back. It was instinct, survival, even though it was probably too late for her]

He's coming back soon.. [ She doesn't even seem to be talking to Wriggle as much as she's talking to herself - it's completely incomprehensible, after all, and then there's the fact it's constantly being interrupted by her laughter as well. The girl pulls the sword out of the other again, but only for a brief second since she's almost gleefully inserting it right back, stabbing harder and harder like she's losing control. ]
I'm waiting, I'm waiting! So.. hehe.. hurry up.. hahahaha..!
[ Wriggle's blood is mixing in with Urotsuki's own from the wounds she's gotten every single time she slams the sword back in, but she doesn't care. She doesn't see anything anymore. Not a person, not Wriggle - there's just something there in the way between her and her goal that she's taking care of, that's all.
She's just having some fun. And so she grins in a definitely deranged kind of way. ]

[The words she screamed were strained and confused. 'What' was obvious, but 'why' even less so. Even though she kept trying to struggle her strength was fading fast. The lashing out of her limbs soon turned into useless pawing and eventually they curled inward before disappearing. Her entire body became limp but the frantic expression remained on her pale face.
The bracelet detaches from her wrist and clatters to the floor]

She had to have two bracelets, after all. And now there is one. She got it.
Urotsuki doesn't even bother to wipe the blood off her or do anything with the body - once Wriggle's body goes limp, she just pulls out the sword so the body will unceremoniously fall down and walks over to the bracelet, grabbing it off the floor. She holds it in her hands, staring at it with wide eyes, completely unconcerned about what she just did. All she can think of is how it's brought her closer to her goal. ]
Look, I got it..
[ Another giggle and the volume of her voice rises, as if she's talking to Ruana. ]
Hey, look, I got it..!
[ For a few moments all the girl can do is stand there like that and admire what she's won before she finally drags herself off again, bloodied and all.
She doesn't care. She's winning. ]
