[Capell just smiled as the boy began eating, ignoring his own hunger. It was not too bad and there had been times in his past when he had gone hungry for longer, it was worth it to see Quark happy- happier at least.]

Of course, but you sleep first and I'll wake you up in a few hours and you can keep watch.

[Despite everything, a part of his brain told Quark that it would be a bad, bad thing to be so trusting. That anyone could say or do anything in this game that maybe they normally wouldn't.

But Capell wouldn't betray him. He had given him the last of his food. And, besides, they were both hunters. There'd be no reason. So Quark smiles, after a moment, and sits himself down against the wall.]

Okay...but promise you really will wake me up!
