[ She probably completely misses the worry in his tone, but she does notice he sounds impressed. And if there's anything Urotsuki craves, then it's attention and praise from other people since she never got it before. So it only cements the idea in her head that this is a good thing. She did something good and now she's getting praised for it.

And it feels great. ]

Have you seen the other ones around? I haven't found them yet!

[ She actually sounds eager this time, unlike her usual more blank kind of the emotion. ]

I have, but you need to be careful for them. Four of them are in a group, and even I couldn't beat them.

They're sticking together..? Are they that scared?

[ Well, they have every reason to be. After all, Urotsuki's bloodlust is pretty much starting to grow towards its fullest right now. But at least she does know that Lancer's strong too, and if he couldn't defeat the group.. ]

...

Isn't there another one that's still alone? Else I'll just have to take them on instead! I really, really need another bracelet.

[ She mulls the one she has over in her head a few times, the blood spreading all over her hand as well but she really doesn't seem to care. ]

They want to survive. Guess banding together is the easiest way for them to do it.

[He nods.]

Yeah, I think so. There should be six prey. Well, five now.

Maybe you should find a group of hunters to take out that big prey group. And better find someone you already work well with.

.. That's going to be hard. No one's going to want to work together like this since everyone wants to keep the bracelets for themselves, right? Everyone wants the reward. But I'm not going to let anyone take this one. It's mine, after all.

[ And she won't hesitate to kill anyone who tries, no matter what her chances are. The reward is more important than even survival. ]

Maybe if I'd take down that group with others and then kill those others too.. that sounds like a good idea, huh!

[He knows that at some point, the hunters will probably turn on each other. He's fully prepared to kill even the people he knows if he must. However, he feels Urotsuki is a little too quick to consider this.]

I don't know. You only need one more ring to win. If you can get that group, you'd be getting four. Just take the one you need and leave the other three for your group to fight over. You'd still be winning.

[ .. Just leave it, huh? Somehow that sounds like much less fun.. that means she'd have to go and run for it, and right after she's finally got to kill someone, right after she's finally felt her weapon slide into flesh again..

If only she could've gone hunting. This is fun alright. Although hunting people is a lot more fun than just hunting dumb monsters.

She giggles. ]

What'd be so wrong about it? Don't worry, it's not like I'm going to kill you. I know you'll leave at least one for me!

[He feels a chill run down his spine as he hears her giggle. Being told that he's not going to be killed is a meager comfort.]

Because...knights don't enjoy slaughtering just anybody.

Huh, I'm just not slaughtering anybody. I'm getting rid of who I need to so I can get Yuuto back.

[ And so maybe she's enjoying it along the way, nothing wrong with that in her eyes.. ]

Ruana promised.. but, I think that when she gives me Yuuto back, I'm still going to take care of her all the same too! [ Her grudge runs too deep to not do that much. ]

...Do you think he would be happy if he saw you like this?

[He knows that Misaya wouldn't mind. But Yuuto was definitely less aggressive than Misaya.]

Yuuto would always be happy to see me.

[ She's utterly convinced of that. He's been nothing but kind to her the entire time he was here - the only person who loved her constantly, who didn't disappoint her or leave her alone. Until Ruana forced him away, anyway. ]

Maybe he will be...

[He sighs.]

...But maybe he'll be sad as well, when he sees how much you went through.

...

Why would he be sad? There's nothing to be sad about. [ She doesn't really stop laughing, but it's a little less than before, at least - there's some near-surprise mixed in there too. ]

I'm just doing what I have to so I can get him back.

That you are. But aren't you also hurting yourself?

[He doesn't want to have to see Urotsuki become a bloodthirsty demon.]

[ At that kind of question, her grin just fully appeals and she gleefully leans on her bloodstained sword. ]

Nuh-uh, not at all! I'm feeling a whole lot lighter than I have in a looong time, ehehe!

[He scratches his head.]

...Really?

Yeah! I'm feeling great! [ She smiles, but unfortunately one would be hard pressed to actually call it cute in any way - especially with the way she's practically covered in blood splatter. ]

I'm going to get Yuuto back and it's a whole lot of fun!

[He's rendered temporarily speechless by her smile. She doesn't seem to be the Urotsuki he knows anymore.]

Then...um...that's good.

And I can...point you off in the right direction?

Sure!

[ She nods, swinging her sword a little until she's standing more upright again. ]

Where do I go?

[He leans against a wall, examining the marks left by other who've passed.]

Hm...I think...this way...

[He starts going toward what he thinks is the right direction.]

[ Hey, even if she might be acting off, she does believe him. So she's already starting to run off in that direction, only turning back for a moment to wave at him with a big (yet somewhat off) smile. ]

Thanks! If you get there in time when I'm done, I'll leave one for you too, hehe..!

If that happens, I'll even let you ride on me like we practiced.

[He waves her off, not sure if they'll run into each other again in this labyrinth.]
