Summary: As Ruana's chosen dogs set out to hunt and/or run, the rest of the tower watches.

[Sometimes in the morning, strange events start to be broadcasted to the screens of the media room and the terminal, showing familiar faces, though some maybe in not quite so familiar get-ups. Looks like Ruana's game is just about to start!]

"I am."

Its a short response, a curious look just faintly visible in her expression. How the girl knew Sephiroth and why she had such an eager interest in the man was beyond her. Then again, her interest in the man's status was beyond her as well.

"We've come from different points of time, but our memories are more or less in sync."

Nesir nodded, she understood people came from slightly different worlds even if it seemed to be the same.

"I did no be knowing there did be being others from his world here."

[provenworth]

Her head gave a little shake, a ghost of a grin pulling at her mouth.

"No, I don't think he'd share that sort of information. Though, for a man who prefers his solitude, I'm surprised to find he has a friend."

One who isn't Ganondorf, that is.

"I do no be thinking he would be calling me a friend." She pointed out, looking at Elena again, in a new light.

"What does your world be being like?"

[provenworth]

The girl's words earn a little chuckle. "That doesn't surprise me. But if you know him, it means he regards you enough to be worth talking too."

Which makes the girl quite interesting, given that fact.

"Gaia? Its pretty, when you get out of Edge. A major city. But we've been recovering from several plights, caused by our mutual friend."

And speaking of which...

"How did you come to know Sephiroth?"

"Oh?" He had caused plights? Sephiroth got more interesting everything that she heard of him. But then again, he had explained his power to her and it was almost beyond her comprehension.

"We did both be working for Ganondorf when he did be being here." She told her, it wasn't really a secret and there was no point in there being one.

[provenworth]

Her head gave a little nod, not responding to the unasked question she guessed was implied by the singular word. For all it was worth, Elena would not give up the man's history. His destructive tendencies. What did it matter here when they were all equals?

"Ah, that would explain it." Wait a second. "You worked with Ganondorf?"

Nesir smirked, "Yes I did be being." Her eyes flickered back to the screen though all her attention was still on Elena, waiting to see how she would react and if Nesir would need to act, to defend herself.

[provenworth]

The affirmation earned surprised look, eyebrows lifting. She could understand Ganon's partnership with Sephiroth. But this girl? She who looked rather harmless in a group of powerful, dangerous men?

Just who was she?

Hands pressed against the book in her lap, fingers feeling the flatness of the cover in idle movements.

"...You must have some unique ability to have earned the man's interest."

Nesir smirked at her, "Maybe, I do just be being an ordinary human, as Sephiroth do be being so keen to be reminding me." Every day practically. Or at least it felt like it.

[provenworth]

"Maybe, maybe not." And Elena returns the smirk with one of her own. "In Sephiroth's mind, everybody is an ordinary human compared to him. He likes to put himself up on a pedestal and doesn't like to share that station."

[culbutiri]

"I did be noticing." She pulled a face, "He do be thinking he do be greater than everyone." And now that she understood his power a little bit more she was not surprised.

[provenworth]

"His pride will be his downfall."

Because it had been before, in a sense. He had though himself all powerful. Unable to be defeated. And when Cloud had shown otherwise, he had been caught off guard. Defeated.

"Unless he learns that he can't always do things on his own. I mean, if there were anybody in this place that would actually help him."

[culbutiri]

"There do be being." Nesir was one of them but she didn't say that. "He do be needing to be learning that though." She sighed.

[provenworth]

"I wouldn't be surprised if there were a small handful, given the people who come through here." She wasn't entirely sure yet if she was or was not one of that small group, which was a little off-putting. Her head nodded in understanding. "He does, though I think we'd be wasting our breath telling him as much. He's a big boy. He'll either learn it eventually or suffer for lack of it."

"A complete waste." She agreed, "He do be being stubborn if nothing else." As she had learned. "Hopefully he will be learning before we do be running out of time."

[provenworth]

Elena can't help but chuckle. "At least he's consistent. But I wonder if he actually will or if, instead, he gets burned because of his refusal to do so."

And then she sighs.

"If he doesn't, he's going to find himself in a bad state. What then?"

"Then he will be learning too late." She shrugged, "If he do be consistently ignoring people when they do be trying to be helping him then he can no be blaming no one when he do be being in trouble."

"That is the flaw of all men of his mindset. They are often too stubborn to hear good advice from others who they see as beneath them." She gives a little snort. "If I know that man at all, I have a feeling that when he finds himself licking his wounds and his pride is wounded, he'll still hold his head high. Gaia forbid he look like a man who made a mistake or failed."

Nesir nodded with another sigh. "It do be being a big flaw, I can only be hoping he will be getting over it."

She smiled, "Do you be knowing anyone else who do be being in there?"

[provenworth]

"If he doesn't, we'll just have to check in and make sure he didn't get in too much trouble then, won't we?"

There's a smirk, hinting at some sort of secret knowledge they shared.

"I know a few others, yes. Some better than others. There are so many of us, its sometimes hard to keep track of everybody. If you're curious if I know somebody specific, I'm all ears."
